Patriots WR Kyle Williams has been buried on the depth chart early in training camp, according to The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan. Williams got no work with QB Drake Maye on Tuesday, per Callahan, trailing WRs A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, Efton Chism, and Demario Douglas. Woof.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Off the Redraft Radar
We're in the first few days of training camp, so Williams has time to climb. But it's a rough start for a guy coming off a mostly quiet rookie season. Williams made a few splash plays last year, averaging a huge 20.9 yards per catch. But he totaled just 10 receptions in the regular season, two in four playoff games, and reached a 50% route rate in just four contests.
The Patriots spent a third-round pick on Williams just a year ago, so we'd be surprised if he got cut. But he's nowhere near the redraft radar right now.
Dynasty Impact: Trending Toward Bust
It's still relatively early, but Williams is heading toward 'bust' status. He failed to carve out a role in a weak WR corps last year, and it doesn't sound like he's made much progress this offseason.
He's worth keeping stashed on most dynasty rosters for now, but don't bank on Williams emerging as a long-term starter.
