Seahawks beat writer Gregg Bell expects new OC Brian Fleury to "feature" the RBs more prominently in the passing game this season. Seattle RBs saw a combined 14% target share last year, sixth-lowest league-wide.

Here's QB Sam Darnold on the impact of more passes to the RB (via The News Tribune).
“Yeah, I think it helps the quarterback a ton because it does present a different problem for the defense,” Darnold said. “Sometimes the defense assumes, especially on third down, that the running back’s going to stay in and protect so they can build their pressures off of that. ...If you get the protections right, you’re not ‘hot,’ and the running back’s out on a route, sometimes that’s a mismatch with a linebacker, especially with a guy like JD or George (Holani).
“So, it’s going to be really fun to see what those guys can do coming out of the backfield.”
Bell also noted "constant" pass-catching work in practice for rookie Jadarian Price.
"From running backs coach Thomas Hammock in position drills. From Darnold, backup Drew Lock and third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe as Price works on the first-, second- and third-string offenses. Price is catching passes from everyone, everywhere."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Note that Price caught only 15 passes in three seasons at Notre Dame. His limited sample was excellent -- 10.8 yards per catch and 3 TDs -- but he never saw a substantial role alongside Jeremiyah Love.
The early pass-catching usage strengthens Price’s PPR appeal, particularly while Zach Charbonnet recovers from his mid-January ACL tear. Charbonnet appears likely to miss early games, but a potential return around midseason would threaten Price’s volume during the fantasy stretch run.
The rookie isn't a priority pick at his current ESPN ADP.

Charbonnet is set to hit free agency after this season. If he leaves, it'll further solidify Price's spot in the top 20 of our dynasty PPR RB rankings.
