Emeka Egbuka Headshot

After getting rolled up on and limping off the practice field earlier in the day, Emeka Egbuka has been tagged with a toe sprain per Rick Stroud of Tampa Bay Times. The timeline and severity of the toe sprain remain unknown until imaging results come back.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Hold Panic, Watch Imaging

Egbuka finished last season as the second-leading fantasy points per game scorer among rookie WRs, trailing only Tetairoa McMillan. His 21.9% target rate and 1.61 yards per route run both ranked tops among first-round rookie WRs.

With Mike Evans leaving the Buccaneers after 12 seasons, Egbuka's ceiling grows as a possible top target for the team. In an offense where Baker Mayfield has produced at least 18.0 passing PPG in two of the past three seasons, that ceiling climbs even higher.

Early indications suggest Egbuka’s toe sprain is minor, but we’ll keep monitoring until the imaging results come back.
