"The first couple of days of camp exposed some rust for the quarterback and the offense overall; his timing was off with receivers and the group appeared flat. But Daniels quickly cleaned it up and has shown a total command of first-year coordinator David Blough’s system, a comfort in working under center more frequently and a solid connection with all of his pass catchers — receivers, tight ends and backs.
Daniels has always been accurate, but his touch on the ball has been even better the last couple of weeks..."
Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports echoed a similar sentiment, writing that Daniels "still looked a lot like his old self" after watching him in training camp.
"The 25-year-old showed that on Wednesday with a spectacular performance in a joint practice against the Miami Dolphins ... Almost every pass he threw was on target and perfectly timed, especially when he was looking 20 to 30 yards downfield. And he showed off his mobility too, escaping for a few runs and even turning one broken play into a successful shovel pass."

Recall that Daniels was limited to only seven games last season due to a variety of injuries, including a dislocated left elbow and a left elbow sprain.
Now, a fully healthy Daniels brings the potential to regain weekly fantasy starter status, particularly after the signing of Stefon Diggs.
Just consider the QB's rookie-year output. In 2024, Daniels finished QB5 behind Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, and Josh Allen. He posted six top-five fantasy weeks and 12 inside the top-12 (in 17 games).
