LeQuint Allen Headshot

Jaguars RB LeQuint Allen will miss the rest of training camp with a soft-tissue injury suffered in Monday's practice, according to The Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran. Allen is slated to play a passing-down role this season, so his absence would boost RB Bhayshul Tuten's target projection.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Passing-Down Work Could Shift

It's unclear whether Allen is in danger of missing the start of the season, but soft-tissue injuries can be tricky.

Allen isn't on the redraft radar, but we do have him projected to lead Jacksonville's RB room with a 37% route rate.

Tuten would be the most likely beneficiary if Allen misses time. He caught just 10 balls as a rookie last year but totaled 50 grabs over his final two college seasons at Virginia Tech.

That's a much stronger pass-catching profile than RB Chris Rodriguez, who caught 20 balls across five college seasons and 6 in three NFL campaigns.

We're not adjusting our projections for the Jaguars' backfield just yet. But Tuten will get a boost if it looks like Allen's injury will spill into the regular season.
