Best Week 5 Moves From Our Experts: Get This Emerging WR in Dynasty
Best Week 5 Moves
Whether you're playing redraft or dynasty, knowing what moves to make is crucial to success.
That's why we're having each of our fantasy football experts give you one move to take advantage of this week.
Tanking for Jeremiah Smith? Bring Carnell Tate With

Tate ranks as the WR30 with 11.7 PPR points per game through the first four games. But his production being sandwiched between Kalif Raymond and Tyquan Thornton misleads how impressive the rookie WR has been.
The Titans’ top WR is coming off a career-high 42.9% target share against the Ravens, becoming just the sixth WR to command at least a 40% target share in a week this season.
But similar to his three games prior, Tate’s output was underwhelming relative to his target volume. His 21.9 PPR points in Week 4 was the second lowest scoring game for a WR with at least a 40% target share this season.
He’s now up to a 29.6% target share that ranks 6th among all WRs but with QB Cam Ward ranking 30th in passing TD rate and 31st in adjusted yards per attempt, Tate’s high-volume has struggled to translate to high-end production.
There aren’t many instances where a young WR can be impressive despite low-end scoring. Tate provides a rare example.
It’s Time To Assess Your Dynasty Future
Now that we are four games in, it is a good time to take stock of your dynasty team and where it is headed. Are you a true contender? Or is it time to start planning for the future?
That means looking at more than just your record (where you may have gotten lucky) and your points scored (one spike week may not indicate a strong contender). Use our League Analyzer and Win Now Mode to truly see where you line up.
If your team is not in the top three or so, it may be time to start looking forward and investing in younger players and picks. It can be a huge advantage to be one of the first teams to move veterans to contenders for future picks and younger players. You can beat other middling teams to the punch.
Don’t undersell your players, but those top teams may need a final push or have injuries that are already hurting their team. That is where you can pounce to get their future draft picks or upside young players. Use our Dynasty Strategy tips to help guide you.
Trade For Bhayshul Tuten

I’ve tried to get this move included in our weekly Trade article multiple times to no avail.
Tuten has been productive enough so far that his owner won’t be looking to give him away. But I think he’s a good bet to be even better the rest of the way than his current market value suggests.
Tuten has been impressive through 4 weeks. Among 51 RBs with 20+ carries this season, he ranks:
- 12th in yards per carry
- 10th in yards after contact per attempt
- 10th in missed tackles forced per attempt
- 8th in success rate
- 13th in explosive run rate
And his role seems to be trending up. Tuten set season highs in Week 4 in snap rate, route rate, carry share, and target share.
He’ll also continue to benefit from playing on a strong team. The Jaguars are 3-1 and rank second in total DVOA. The running game has been particularly effective, sitting second in my Run Offense Power Rankings.
There’s a lot working in Tuten’s favor. I like his chances to score as a top-15 RB the rest of the way.
