Dolphins WR Chris Bell made his preseason debut on Friday night, catching 2 of 5 targets for 22 yards on 11 routes. He confirmed afterward that he expects to play Week 1.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Miami's Future No. 1?
Bell is a little over nine months removed from his ACL tear and was activated from the non-football injury list on August 17.
He looked smooth vs. Atlanta, particularly on this 18-yard grab over the middle:

1st play of the game they give it to Bell on a short hitch
2nd drive post for 18 yards and looks smooth
Came in and played a ton of X but also rotated in the the Z and slot
Great sign that he played and started - felt that he didn’t look… pic.twitter.com/9jjSVjJB3E
Bell might open the season on a snap count and won't be a fantasy option out of the gate. But he's capable of emerging as Miami's top WR later this year.
Bell is a potential in-season waiver add in standard-sized fantasy leagues and might even be worth stashing now in deep leagues.
