After initially making the 53-man roster, the Titans are waiving wide receiver Xavier Restrepo after the team made four new additions, per Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated. Melo indicated that Restrepo would likely land back on the practice squad.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Practice Squad, Same Outlook
Unlike last season, Restrepo survived the Titans' final roster cuts. Unfortunately, the good feeling was short-lived, with the team letting him go just a day later.
Similar to last season, it appears he will begin the season on the practice squad. In 2025, Restrepo was brought up to play in two games where he accumulated 7 targets for three receptions and 41 yards.
As with nearly any player heading into their second season, there is hope for an improvement in their rookie production. But with the Titans adding a wide receiver in Carnell Tate with a top 10 pick in the draft, the path for Restrepo was even cloudier.
With him likely headed back to the practice squad, and none of the newcomers being WRs, the path to production looks the same for Restrepo as it did yesterday.
