Rams WR Puka Nacua might be facing a new complication to his off-field issues via a social-media video posted by an ex-girlfriend. Hallie Aiono made claims in a TikTok video Sunday night that included abuse. Add that to a pending lawsuit in which another woman has accused Nacua of making antisemitic remarks and biting her.

Aiono, via the New York Post: "I went from loving somebody so deeply for four years, I felt it in my bones, to experiencing extreme betrayal, abuse, complete neglect from them, in what felt like it happened almost overnight. ... Those parts, what people never saw or know of are what broke me."

We passed along word early in August from ESPN's Adam Schefter that Nacua might still be at risk of suspension. This latest vague accusation supplied over TikTok probably falls short of presenting league-discipline risk. But the collection of offseason issues could be enough to trigger something.
That said, we just got three players placed on the exempt list Sunday, and we now sit just nine days away from the Rams' Sept. 10 opener against the 49ers in Australia.
Every passing day seems to make league action less likely.
We'll keep watch, but the risk level still seems fairly low on Nacua. It certainly sounds like he's guilty of being a truly crappy person on multiple occasions away from the field ... and perhaps more than that. But none of these situations have produced criminal charges.
The absence of action related to the March 25 lawsuit to this point might indicate that the league doesn't yet see enough evidence to earn discipline. The NFL also might simply be waiting for the civil case to play out.
The trial date for that one isn't until March 27, 2028.
