We've gotten plenty of recent indications that the Patriots might miss RB TreVeyon Henderson for Week 1. Sunday provided the first official injury report of the season, and Henderson missed the workout with his ankle injury. We'll get two more days of practice reports before the team puts out game statuses for Wednesday's opener.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Fire Up Stevenson
We've already seen enough to deem Henderson a non-option for Week 1. Even at full health, he has consistently worked behind Rhamondre Stevenson throughout the offseason.
Adding a Henderson ankle injury to that hierarchy only makes Stevenson a stronger early-season option for your fantasy lineup.
ESPN's Mike Reiss says New England would likely elevate RB Lan Larison and/or RB Hassan Haskins from the practice squad if Henderson's inactive. Corey Kiner's the only other RB on the current active roster.
None of those guys would threaten Stevenson's touch count as much as Henderson.
