Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) is out for Wednesday night's opener vs. the Seahawks. He didn't practice all week, although he did reportedly travel with the team to Seattle. He'll have 10 days to get ready for Week 2's meeting with the Steelers, but we'd consider him no better than 50/50 for that one.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Expect Big Volume For Stevenson
Henderson's absence figures to leave Rhamondre Stevenson in a workhorse role for the opener. Corey Kiner, who was acquired from Arizona on August 28, is the only other RB on New England's active roster. Hassan Haskins and/or Lan Larison will likely be promoted from the practice squad.
Stevenson gets a tough matchup against a Seattle defense that ranked fourth in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs last year. But projected volume lands him 15th in our Week 1 RB rankings.
