The Packers have agreed to a four-year extension with TE Tucker Kraft. ESPN reports that it'll pay $75 million, with a $26.5 million signing bonus and a $92 million max value.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: No Change for This Year
It's not surprising to see Green Bay commit longer-term to the 26-year-old (as of Nov. 3) TE who was about to start the final season of his rookie deal. He's now under contract through 2030.
The extension doesn't mean much for 2026, though. The big question facing Kraft this season is how soon he'll get back to full playing time coming off his ACL tear.
What They're Saying
Kraft earlier this summer, via ESPN's Rob Demovsky: "They're gonna take into account my rep range probably until halfway through the season. They they're just gonna pat me on the ass and send me out there, send me to the wolves. How this offense is, I'm gonna get as comfortable as I can playing those reps in those games that I was playing previously; those games when I was 50-60 reps, 85 reps against the Cowboys in overtime. It's just the more you can do, all the hats I can wear on the offense, I want to bring everything to the table."
Kraft has said at other times that he feels ready for full duty, but it seems like it might be up to Packers coaches to keep him from overdoing it.
We haven't gone too conservative with his Week 1 projection, which finds Kraft ninth among PPR tight ends despite a tough matchup with Minnesota.
