After his lowest scoring game since his rookie season in Week 1, he bounced back in a big way. Chase had 75 yards, including a 32-yard highlight TD grab, facing a Texans defense that allowed the sixth fewest receiving yards last season.
The Bengals WR accounted for just an 11.4% target share in the team’s opening game, an uncommon week for him. As expected, Chase was far more involved this week, posting a 29.0% target share.
Chase is expected to contend for the overall WR1 title over the remainder of the season following his WR3 finish last season while defending his title from the prior year.
The matchup-proof WR will be projected for another high finish in a divisional matchup against the Steelers next week.
