Colts WR Alec Pierce left in the first quarter of Sunday night's game against the Chiefs with an injury to his left heel. The team has deemed him questionable to return.
Update: The team downgraded Pierce to out before the start of the second half.

That's the same heel/ankle that required offseason surgery, and it certainly didn't look good.
Pierce sustained a non-contact injury and appeared loathe to put weight on the foot as he left the field. He then hopped to a cart for a ride to the locker room.
It's mildly encouraging that the Colts called Pierce questionable rather than quickly ruling him out. But it's obviously worrisome that his injury came to the area that kept the receiver out for nearly all of summer workouts.
We'll watch for updates on his outlook.
