Flowers’ absence likely fueled Bateman’s 21.8 point fantasy performance. It also came after Bateman only drew 1 target with no catches in Week 1 against the Colts.
He will likely remain the deep threat for the Ravens with the occasional big play or long TD adding to Bateman’s fantasy performances. That being said, he shouldn’t be relied upon in a lineup setting league except when the match-up dictates it (or if Flowers misses more time with his injury).
The Ravens have the Cowboys, Titans, and Falcons over the next three weeks. All could be match-ups that Bateman could exploit down the field.
