Patrick Mahomes' 29.0 fantasy point performance in the team’s Sunday night win marks his fourth-highest scoring week since the start of 2023. The Chiefs QB completed 32 of his 47 pass attempts for 382 yards and 3 TDs without throwing an INT. He also accounted for 17 rushing yards on two carries, both happening in overtime.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Another QB1 Week Beckons
Mahomes’ 382 passing yards are the most he’s thrown for in a game since Week 7 of 2023. He has also now produced back-to-back weeks of at least 20 fantasy points to open the season, ranking as a top-five QB.
Part of what has helped Mahomes find early passing success, is the team’s high-end rushing production. The Chiefs rank second in rushing yards after two weeks.
That is thanks in large part to Kenneth Walker, who has produced at least 100 rushing yards in each of his first two games with the team. Which already outnumbers the number of games the team had a 100-yard rusher last season.
The 10th-year QB gets a matchup against the Dolphins next week, who have given up the fifth-most points to open 2026.
