Kenneth Walker backed up his 34.1 PPR point, RB2 Week 1 finish with another RB2 finish (pending Monday Night Football) in Week 2 after scoring 23.8 PPR points. The Chiefs newest RB handled 24 attempts for 117 yards but it was his 6 receptions for 61 yards after receiving a career-high 10 targets that stood out.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Chiefs Volume Has Arrived
Walker has been impressive to begin his Chiefs tenure after signing in free agency this offseason. Through two weeks, he ranks as the RB1 overall with 28.9 PPR points per game.
Just two weeks into his first regular season with the team, Walker has produced two games with at least 100 rushing yards. That already out-numbers the number of games the Chiefs had with a 100-yard rusher last season.
His career-high 10 targets in a 21.2% target share Week 2 performance, after a 22.2% share last week, gives reason to be bullish that Walker continues producing as the RB1 overall.
We’ve seen Walker be hyper-efficient during his time with the Seahawks. Now he’s getting career-high usage to begin his time with the Chiefs.
He gets a favorable matchup against a Dolphins defense that has given up the fifth-most points to this point.
