Chargers TEs David Njoku and Charlie Kolar will be placed on IR with the injuries they suffered in the Week 2 loss to the Raiders, HC Jim Harbaugh said. Kolar's forearm injury will cost him "about a month," a source tells ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. We're still waiting for details on Njoku's knee injury, but he's also out at least 4 weeks.
Update: Njoku has a fibula injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but there's still no timeline for his return.

And just like that, Oronde Gadsden is the only healthy TE on the Chargers' active roster. Evan Svoboda and Patrick Herbert are on the practice squad but aren't threats for legitimate roles.
We'll see if the Chargers add to the position this week, but the door is open for Gadsden. He already climbed from a 14% route rate in the opener to 48% in Week 2. Expect that mark to rise further in Week 3 and beyond.
We'll see exactly how big a role Gadsden claims, and a struggling Chargers offense might cap his upside. He'd be a risky Week 3 start but deserves a roster spot in most fantasy leagues.
