Malik Nabers Headshot

In a Monday Night Football matchup filled with injuries and offensive inefficiency for the Giants, Malik Nabers walks away with the lowest scoring output of his career. The third-year WR produced only 1 reception on four targets for just one yard, leading to 1.1 PPR and a WR116 finish to Week 2.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Bad Week, Better Signal

Giants’ QB Jaxson Dart suffered a knee injury on the first drive of the game, sidelining him for the rest of the game and beyond.

Not long after, at the end of the first quarter, Nabers suffered a shoulder injury of his own. Fortunately for the star WR, it didn’t prohibit him from getting back into the game.

After that, Nabers didn’t add any more fantasy points, though he did earn two more targets, including an incomplete 52-yard pass from Jameis Winston in the third quarter.

While it was a poor performance from Nabers, his Week 1 return from ACL injury, in which he posted a 31.0% target share and 2.38 yards per team pass attempt, indicates that his knee shouldn’t be an issue when projecting forward.

Winston has proven the ability to support WR1 production across his career, and Nabers will be in line for it while we await a timetable for Dart’s return.
