Giants QB Jaxson Dart's knee injury is worse than initially thought, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "He’s out an extended period of time, possibly the season," Rapoport adds.

We should get an official diagnosis and return timeline on Dart soon, but it sounds like he'll be droppable from all redraft rosters in this week's waiver-wire run.
His absence will leave QB Jameis Winston at the controls of New York's offense. He struggled in relief of Dart vs. the Rams, completing just 11 of 27 passes for 111 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. But Winston has a much longer track record of capable, if sporadic, play. Between 2024 with the Browns and 2025 with the Giants, he posted a 60.2% completion rate, 7.4 yards per attempt, and 4.1% TD rate. Winston has averaged 7.6 yards per attempt with a 4.8% TD rate for his career.
The Giants will remain a run-leaning offense with Winston under center, but this passing game should remain productive enough to support WR Malik Nabers and TE Isaiah Likely.
Winston is only worth adding in 2-QB and superflex leagues for now, although the upcoming schedule is favorable:
