Carnell Tate Headshot

Coming off the highest-scoring week of his young career, Tate finished with a season-low 1.6 PPR points. He caught just one of 5 targets for six yards in a game where the Titans offense produced three points, to rank as the WR91 pending Sunday- and Monday Night Football.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Targets Can’t Fix Everything

Tate has been a constant casualty to one of the league’s worst passing offenses. The Titans entered this week with the fourth-fewest passing yards and QB Cam Ward finished Week 5 with just 170 yards for his fourth start this season with fewer than 200 passing yards.

It’s a major reason the rookie WR ranked as the WR30 despite commanding a 29.6% target share that’s the sixth-highest among all WRs.

Tate finished with a season-low 14.3% target share, but it was still the second-highest mark on the offense in Week 5. It’s the first game of his career he concluded accounting for less than 20% of the Titan’s targets.

His next opportunity for a bounce-back performance comes against a Colts defense that was allowing the fourth-most receiving yards entering this week.
