Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. caught 1 of 4 targets for 4 yards in Sunday’s 17-12 loss to the Jets. That added up to just 1.4 PPR points. Fannin still played 63 of 68 snaps (92.6%) and ran 38 routes. The main problem was that the passing game produced just 155 yards.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: A Sharp Drop From His Pace
Fannin entered the week with 17 catches for 153 yards and 3 TDs on 23 targets. That works out to 5.8 targets and 38.3 yards per game, so Sunday was a big step back on both. His 86.4% route rate (38 of 44) is elite for a TE, which makes this dud easier to forgive. Deshaun Watson took 8 sacks, and that pressure limited the chances to get him the ball. Fannin’s 3 TDs also remain tied for the team lead. The Jets entered ranked 22nd in PPR points allowed to TEs (9.6 per game).
Cleveland hosts the Ravens in Week 6, then visits the Titans and Steelers. None of those matchups stand out for TEs. Baltimore ranks 21st in TE points allowed (9.7 per game) and 7th in our pass defense power rankings. Tennessee ranks 24th (9.4) but 31st in our pass defense power rankings, which could help the whole passing game. Pittsburgh ranks 20th (9.92) and 15th in our pass defense power rankings. Fannin stays as a low-end TE1 despite the lackluster performance, with his route share and red-zone role giving him a solid floor. If Quinshin Judkins misses time, that could funnel some short passes to Fannin to replace the rushing game.
