Marks handled 15 carries for 62 yards while hauling in all four of his targets for another 23 yards in a game that saw fellow RB David Montgomery in the first half with a groin injury. He finished with a season-high 12.5 PPR points to rank as an RB2 in Week 5.

Marks was responsible for 60% of the Texans’ rush attempts for the first time since Week 17 of last season. That’s something we’ll get used to seeing if Montgomery ends up missing an extended amount of time.

The second-year RB handled at least a 60% carry share in five games last season and averaged 10.8 PPR points in those weeks. That includes two performances with at least 15 PPR points.

Marks also commanded a 12.1% target share on Sunday, marking the second highest share over his 21 career games. In the only game he produced a higher target share, he finished with a career-high 27.9 PPR points.

Depending on Montgomery’s availability, Marks’ first game as the Texans’ starting RB will come against a Jaguars defense that’s allowed the 10th fewest points to RBs entering this week.
