In just his second week back from a hip and groin injury, Nacua hauled in 17 receptions on a staggering 24 targets for 138 yards and a TD. He was used everywhere on the field, including as a rusher producing nine more yards on 2 attempts on the ground. Nacua finished Week 5 with 37.7 PPR points for his third WR1 overall week since the start of last season.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: This Volume Wins Weeks
Since 2006, only Brandon Marshall has seen more targets in a game than Nacua’s 24 in the Rams overtime loss to the Bills. That 44.4% target share on Monday Night Football pushed his season mark to 37.3%, leading all WRs.
Nacua, whose 23.4 PPR points per game achieved the WR1 overall mark last season, entered his fourth season in the NFL in essentially the same environment he entered last season in. He’s catching passes from QB Matthew Stafford while playing alongside WR Davante Adams in an offense orchestrated by HC Sean McVay.
Given that continuity, it’s no surprise Nacua is averaging 25.9 PPR points per game through his first three games of this season.
His next chance to finish as the WR1 overall comes in Week 6 against a Cardinals defense allowing 32.4 points to opposing offenses, the highest mark of any defense.
