Caleb Williams Headshot

Bears QB Caleb Williams turned in his second straight excellent performance in Thursday night’s win over the Patriots. He completed 22 of 33 passes (67%) for 308 yards (9.3 YPA), 2 TDs, and 0 INTs. Williams’ pocket presence and escapability were on display throughout the night. And so was the elite arm talent, most notably on a laser to a well-covered Rome Odunze to convert a third-and-nine late in the fourth quarter.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: League-Winning Upside

In 2 games back from his hamstring injury, Williams has completed 75% of his passes, averaged 8.9 yards per attempt, and tossed 3 TDs vs. 0 INTs. The raw tools have always been there for Williams. Now he seems to be really clicking in HC Ben Johnson’s offense.

Williams has totaled just 21 rushing yards over the last 2 weeks, but that production should improve as he puts that hamstring injury further behind him.

Williams gets a very tough draw at the Seahawks next week, which will likely leave him on the fringes of QB1 territory in our ranks. He then gets another negative, but much more doable, matchup against the Buccaneers before a Week 10 bye.

But from Week 11 on, Williams gets the second-easiest QB schedule, including 2 games against the Lions and 1 against the Bills. He has league-winning potential over that stretch.
