Tucker returned from a one-game absence with a quad injury and made the most of limited work. He ran 7 times for 52 yards and a TD, including a 46-yard run, and finished as RB23 for the week. But nearly all of his production came with the backups in. Before garbage time, Tucker handled just 7% of the RB opportunities and 7% of the rush attempts without running a route. All of his snaps came in short-yardage situations or garbage time.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Tucker has played in only three games this season, totaling 80 rushing yards and 2 TDs on 15 carries. He hasn’t caught a pass. His TD in Week 4 also came on limited work, as he’s operated mainly as a short-yardage and late-game option. Bucky Irving took all 4 carries inside the 5 this week, which leaves Tucker little path to steady goal-line work.
The Buccaneers host Atlanta in Week 8, visit Chicago in Week 9 and then have their bye. Heading into Week 7, the Falcons ranked 12th in fantasy points allowed to RBs (22.62 per game), while the Bears allowed the third-fewest (17.02). Kenneth Gainwell’s hip injury could open a few more snaps for Tucker, so he may be worth a deep league add.
