The Rams went run-heavy in a lopsided win over the Raiders on Sunday, logging 38 rushes vs. 29 pass attempts. The RB work got split near-evenly between Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. The starter carried 16 times for 99 yards and a TD and caught both of his targets for 22 yards. Corum posted a 17-93-1 rushing line and caught his lone target for 8 yards.
Split Started Early
Corum rushed seven times in the first half to Williams' eight, including the team's first four carries. L.A. actually dropped QB Matthew Stafford back on its first three plays, going three-and-out. Corum opened the next possession, rushed four times, garnered a target, and scored from 2 yards out, but a holding penalty nullified that play.
TE Davis Allen scored two plays later.
The two RBs ran even in the second half as well. Willams wound up playing 37 snaps to Corum's 32, including a 17-7 lead in routes.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Two Upcoming Games Could Help Corum
Williams is clearly the favored receiver, but we might be able to anticipate more even splits like this when game script favors the Rams so heavily.
This marked the second time the Rams have won by double digits in 2026. Williams and Corum each logged 12 carries when they beat the Giants 28-6 in Week 2.
Of course, it can be difficult to predict such game flows. L.A. entered its Week 6 clash with the Cardinals favored by 12.5, for example, compared to the 4.5-point line against the Raiders.
Week 8 pits them against the Chargers, who head toward Sunday as underdogs by more than a TD. After that comes a visit to Washington, which also figures to be an underdog.
So there's potential for Corum to post usable lines in those contests. But beware of over-trusting him.
