Makai Lemon Headshot

Makai Lemon followed up his career-high 19.7 PPR points by hauling in six of a team-high 9 targets for 57 yards on his way to 11.7 PPR points for a WR3 finish in Week 8. He’s now posted his best two outings over the past two weeks with both WRs DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks out for consecutive games.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Injury Boost, Tougher Test

Lemon’s team-high 28.1% target share against the Commanders marked the second straight week he led the Eagles in targets. Since QB Tanner McKee took over as the starter in Week 6, Lemon has drawn an 18.2% target share.

But with both Smith and Wicks out the past two weeks, Lemon is accounting for a 24.2% target share that ranks 18th among all WRs. He’s turned that into a 20th-ranked 62 receiving yards per game over that span.

Inefficiency remains a concern: Lemon’s 0.91 yards per route over 277 routes this season ranks 98th among WRs.

It’s unclear if Smith and Wicks will both be out in the final game before the Eagles’ Week 10 bye, but Lemon gets a tougher matchup next week regardless. He faces a Giants defense that’s reducing WR points by 11.9%.
