Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday’s opener against the Panthers. He didn’t practice all week and won’t play. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are locked in as Jacksonville’s top 2 WRs. Rookie Rashad Greene figures to enter in 3-WR sets.

Hays Carlyon of The Florida Times-Union reports that Jaguars WR Allen Hurns' offseason work with QB Blake Bortles is showing through in their camp connection. "He's awesome, he was our Mr. Reliable last year," Bortles said. "Obviously, the time we got to spend together in the offseason out in California and then here all of July, it's been really good. That's something that's continuing to grow and he's only getting better." We would have described Hurns more as a flashy, big-play guy than "Mr. Reliable," but it's telling that his QB describes him that way. Hurns already belongs ahead of WR Marqise Lee in 2015 fantasy football rankings, and could turn into a true sleeper if his positive summer continues.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jags WR Marqise Lee will miss roughly 2 weeks with a strained hamstring. It follows a concerning trend, as the USC product missed most of the offseason program with a knee injury. He also sat out 3 games last year with a bum hamstring. Consider Allen Hurns an intriguing late-round flier – especially in best ball leagues. Lee’s not worth even a late-round investment.

Jaguars WR Marqise Lee's reps will be managed when training camp kicks off next week.  He missed most of spring workouts with a knee injury.  “We have to manage him a little bit to make sure he’s OK in term so his health," WRs coach Jerry Sullivan said.  "He’s missed some time and has some ground to make up. But he’s in a good frame of mind.”  Lee has reportedly fallen behind Allen Hurns for the #2 spot on the depth chart.  The former USC Trojan has the ability to re-take that starting job -- if he can stay healthy.

Jaguars insider Ryan O'Halloran has Allen Hurns as the team's #2 WR heading to training camp.  That's ahead of WR Marqise Lee, who missed most of the spring with a bum knee.  Lee dealt with hamstring issues last year and also struggled staying healthy in college.  He's capable of overtaking Hurns for a starting spot in training camp -- if he can stay on the field.  But don't sleep on Hurns.  He averaged 13.3 yards per catch and led the team with 6 receiving TDs last season.  Ultimately, the winner of this training camp battle will only be a spot-start option in fantasy football.  Allen Robinson and Julius Thomas figure to dominate targets in Jacksonville.

Jags WR Allen Robinson is out for the season with a stress fracture in his foot. The rookie looked strong over his first 10 games, posting a 48-548-2 line. Now, he’ll look to get over an injury that can prove troublesome for WRs. Cecil Shorts and Allen Hurns are the  starters going forward, but note that Hurns just suffered a concussion vs. Dallas.  Fortunately, the Jags enter their bye this week before traveling to Indianapolis.  Both Shorts and Hurns should see plenty of volume in that matchup.  Marqise Lee will ascend to #3 on the depth chart but hasn't shown anything to be worth adding to fantasy rosters.

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns suffered a head injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game.  He'll be evaluated for a concussion.  We'll update his status when we learn more.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is probable for this weekend's game against the Cowboys in London.  Shorts tweaked his hammy on Wednesday, sat out on Thursday but returned to practice on Friday.  He figures to start alongside WR Allen Robinson, but note that WR Allen Hurns out-snapped and out-targeted Shorts last week.  WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is also probable for Sunday's game and will serve as the #4 WR.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts did not practice on Thursday after injuring his hamstring on Wednesday.  He's looking doubtful to be available for this weekend's game against the Cowboys.  WR Marqise Lee (ankle) got back on the practice field on Thursday and will likely serve as Jacksonville's #3 WR this weekend.  Look for WRs Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns to start.

Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports that Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts experienced some tightness in his troublesome hamstring during Wednesday's practice in England. Shorts has been dealing with the issue off and on since the summer, so the latest tweak obviously makes him quite risky for Sunday's clash with the Cowboys. The Wednesday injuries to Shorts and Marqise Lee (ankle) only help the WR3/flex prospects of healthy rookies Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson.

Jaguars WRs Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Marqise Lee (hamstring) are active for today’s game against the Titans. Shorts is listed alongside Allen Robinson in the starting lineup. Both guys are low-end WR3s for Week 6. Lee and Allen Hurns should be on fantasy benches.

Jaguars WRs Marqise Lee (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (hamstring) are listed as probable for this weekend’s game against the Titans. Both guys got in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Jacksonville’s WR corps will finally be at full strength on Sunday, which makes it a bit of a question mark for fantasy owners. Our best guess is that Shorts and Allen Robinson will be the 2 starters, with Hurns as the #3. Shorts and Robinson are risky WR3s. Hurns and Lee should be on fantasy benches.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) put in a full practice on Thursday.  Barring a setback, it looks like he'll return for this weekend's game against the Titans.  With WR Marqise Lee also expected back, Jacksonville's WR corps will finally be at full strength.  It's tough to know exactly how the playing time will be divvied, making it a situation to avoid in Week 6.

Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers.  That doesn't bode well for his Week 6 status.  The rookie has yet to practice since injuring his hamstring 2 weeks ago.  WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is unlikely to play this week, either.  That leaves WRs Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns to dominate targets.  Both guys are intriguing WR3 fliers in a plus matchup against the Steelers.

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley conceded that WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is not expected to play against the Steelers this weekend.  Shorts aggravated the bum hammy that's been bothering him since August.  The Jags would be wise to hold him out until he's truly back to 100%.  Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns will serve as Jacksonville's top 2 WRs in Week 5.  Marqise Lee's (hamstring) status remains uncertain.

Jaguars WRs Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Allen Hurns (ankle) are active for today’s game against the Colts. Those guys will serve as the top 2 receivers, with Allen Robinson as the #3. None of them are strong fantasy plays. WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is out.

Update: Robinson, not Hurns, will start alongside Shorts.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) made it through the week of practice and is probable for Sunday's game against the Colts.  He'll start alongside WR Allen Hurns (ankle), who is also probable.  Both guys are just desperation fantasy plays.  WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is out.

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley called WR Allen Hurns (ankle) "day-to-day" at his Monday press conference.  It's good news after he was on crutches after the game.  Hurns has a chance to play against the Colts in Week 3, but he'll be tough to trust in fantasy lineups after Sunday's 2-catch, 13-yard dud.

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns hobbled off the field with about 20 seconds left in Sunday's loss to Washington. He hurt his left foot/ankle, exited on a cart and was reportedly on crutches after the game. Any missed time would help fellow rookie Allen Robinson stay on the field after Robinson caught 4 passes in Week 2.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Redskins. Rookies Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee will serve as Jacksonville’s top 2 WRs.
