The Eagles will release WR Alshon Jeffery after the new league year begins in March, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This comes as no surprise. Jeffery just turned 31 and is coming off a 6-catch season, delayed by a late-2019 foot injury. We'll see whether Jeffery catches on anywhere else. We'll also see exactly how the Philly pass-catching corps shakes out through free agency and the NFL Draft. (The Eagles pick 6th overall.) TE Zach Ertz has been a rumored potential mover as well. We'd bet on Philadelphia making a significant WR addition via the draft or free agency. Travis Fulgham and Jalen Reagor stand as the top 2 incumbent wideouts in targets. (Greg Ward is an exclusive-rights free agent.)

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) is out for Sunday night’s game vs. Washington. He popped for a long TD in last week’s win over the Cowboys but is hurt again. Jalen Reagor, Greg Ward, Alshon Jeffery and Travis Fulgham will be Philly’s top 4 WRs in the finale.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) put in a full week of practice and will make his 2020 debut against the Giants on Sunday. HC Doug Pederson suggested on Friday that Jeffery will be limited in his 1st action since last December. He’s not a viable Week 10 fantasy play.

The Eagles expect WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) to be a full participant in practice after the bye. Jeffery, of course, has not played since suffering a Lisfranc injury last December but added the calf injury in the lead-up to Week 7. We'll see about his return to game action, and then how big a role he'll play. Jeffery won't be usable in fantasy lineups in most cases at least until we see a game from him. His role, however, could impact playing time for fantasy revelation Travis Fulgham.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery is out for Thursday night's game against the Giants. He's now listed on the injury report with a calf, in addition to the foot. Jeffery's absence ensures that Travis Fulgham will remain Philly's starting 'X' receiver this week.

The Eagles have placed WR Jalen Reagor on IR following surgery to repair a torn ligament in his thumb. That will put him out for at least the next 3 games, but the team reportedly doesn't expect him back until Week 10 (after the bye). Reagor's absence leaves snaps outside-WR snaps available for J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, rookie John Hightower and Alshon Jeffery, as soon as Jeffery is ready coming off his December Lisfranc injury. Jeffery looks most interesting among the 3 and is worth claiming off waivers if you have a spot to stash him until we see him back in game action.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (Lisfranc) returned to practice on Thursday. It's his 1st official workout since last December's foot injury. Jeffery still figures to be at least a couple of weeks away from his 2020 debut, but he's trending in the right direction. His status has taken on increased importance with WR Jalen Reagor (thumb) out indefinitely.

The Eagles have elected to put WR Alshon Jeffery on the active roster, rather than having him open the season on the physically unable to perform list. Jeffery was eligible after spending all of training camp on the PUP following December foot surgery. GM Howie Roseman told Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, though, that the team believes Jeffery will be ready before Week 7 and that "being on PUP would restrict him until then." Jeffery is stashable late in fantasy drafts, but he'd be a dead spot on your roster until that foot is ready.

Adam Caplan of Inside the Birds reports that Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery "has a real shot to return in September and is unlikely to remain on PUP to start the season." Jeffery is nearing 9 months since December surgery for a Lisfranc injury. We'll continue to keep an eye on his return. We'll also see whether Jeffery can get back before rookie WR Jalen Reagor returns from his shoulder injury.

The Eagles have placed WR Alshon Jeffery (Lisfranc) on the active/PUP list. No surprise here. Jeffery is still rehabbing from December Lisfranc surgery, and signs all offseason have pointed to him missing the start of the season. He's now eligible to be placed on the reserve/PUP list later this summer, which would knock him out for at least the first 6 games.

The Eagles selected TCU WR Jalen Reagor with the 21st overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. Reagor might be the biggest risk/reward prospect in this year’s WR class. The good: He led the Horned Frogs in yards (576) and TDs (8) as a true freshman, posted a big 72-1,061-9 line as a sophomore and earned a 93rd percentile SPARQ score at 5’11, 206 pounds at the Combine. Reagor’s highlights — explosive speed, a big catch radius and sublime hands — are exciting. “Holy sh*t, he’s exciting,” an anonymous scout told The Athletic’s Bob McGinn. “His speed and run after … we’re looking for explosive playmakers … His skill set is outstanding.” But Reagor’s 2019 was ugly: 43 catches, 611 yards and 5 TDs. TCU’s passing game struggled under freshman QB Max Duggan, but Reagor still tallied disappointing market shares and ranked dead last among 30 of this year’s top WR prospects in yards per route run. This is a great landing spot both short and long term with HC Doug Pederson and QB Carson Wentz. We’ll see if Philly hangs on to WR Alshon Jeffery, but Reagor has a good shot to at least win a top 3 role this season alongside DeSean Jackson.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery underwent surgery to repair his Lisfranc injury on Saturday, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. "The hope is he’ll be ready to go by the start of the 2020 season," Garafolo adds. Lisfrancs can be tough to recover from -- especially for a soon-to-be 30-year-old receiver with a long injury history. Jeffery is due $11.5 million fully guaranteed in 2020, so he'll be back with Philly.

The Eagles have placed WR Alshon Jeffery on IR, officially ending his 2019 campaign. Jeffery suffered a Lisfranc injury in Monday night's game against the Giants, according to NBC Philadelphia's John Clark. The Eagles promoted WR Robert Davis from the practice squad to take Jeffery's place on the roster. Davis joins J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward as the team's healthy WRs.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery's injury is "significant" and might cost him the rest of the season, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. We're still waiting for an official diagnosis on Jeffery, but it looked like a serious injury from the moment it happened. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him the rest of the way.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery told the media he "felt something pop" in his foot during the 2nd quarter of Monday night's game against the Giants. The team is calling it a foot injury, which is better than an Achilles. But this obviously sounds like a serious issue. Jeffery is scheduled for an MRI on Tuesday. Philly is razor-thin at WR, with DeSean Jackson on IR, Nelson Agholor dealing with a knee injury and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside appearing to hurt his hamstring late in the Giants game.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery left Monday night's game against the Giants in the 1st half after hurting his right foot. He's questionable to return.

Update: Jeffery has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Eagles WRs Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and Nelson Agholor (knee) will both return for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Jeffery is a WR3 with upside in the plus matchup. Agholor is tough to get behind as a fantasy option considering he's topped 50 yards just once all season.

Eagles WRs Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and Nelson Agholor (knee) will be full participants in Wednesday's practice, HC Doug Pederson said. That puts both guys on track to return for this weekend's game against the Dolphins. Jeffery will be a WR3 with some upside in that plus matchup. Agholor remains just a fantasy flier.

Eagles WRs Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and Nelson Agholor (knee) are inactive for today’s game against the Seahawks. That leaves Jordan Matthews, Mack Hollins, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward as Philly’s healthy WRs. We wouldn’t trust any of them in fantasy lineups. TE Zach Ertz, TE Dallas Goedert and RB Miles Sanders could be the team’s top 3 target-getters today.
