The Seahawks and Ravens have discussed signing WR Antonio Brown, NFL Network's Mike Silver reports. Brown has had numerous off-field issues since being released by the Raiders and Patriots over a 2-week span this past September. Silver believes Brown "may be facing a suspension of about half a season." Of course, he posted a 105-1,2297-15 line in his last full season back in 2018 and went for 56 yards and a score in his only game last year. There are worse late-round fliers in best-ball drafts right now.

WR Antonio Brown tweeted Sunday morning that he "will not be playing in the NFL anymore," citing the owners' ability to renege on contract guarantees. Brown and the Patriots are about to have it out over how much the team owes him. We imagine Brown would consider continuing his NFL career if another team offers him a big chunk of money. But we're also not betting on that happening this season.

The Patriots have released WR Antonio Brown. Enough was finally enough for New England. Frankly, we'd be surprised if another team took a shot on Brown -- but a lot has surprised us with this guy over the past month. He's worth hanging on to in fantasy leagues for now. The Patriots, meanwhile, are back to Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon as their top 2 WRs. Both guys get a nice fantasy boost with Brown out of the picture.

The NFL has made no ruling on Patriots WR Antonio Brown as of Wednesday morning. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes that the league tends to have a player's status decided by Wednesday, so it looks like Brown will be eligible for this weekend's game against the Jets. He played just 33% of New England's offensive snaps in his debut last week but posted a 4-56-1 line on 8 targets.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Patriots WR Antonio Brown is expected to play against the Dolphins today and adds that he's "a real part of the game plan and, football-wise, is ready to contribute." Brown has practiced just 3 times with his new team, so don't be surprised if he's only in on certain packages today. But he doesn't need much volume to do damage against Miami. We have Brown ranked as a high-end WR3 for Week 2.

Patriots WR Antonio Brown traveled with the team to Miami and is expected to play against the Dolphins tomorrow, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Brown's role might be limited after joining the team just a week ago, but the matchup gives him plenty of fantasy upside.

Patriots WR Antonio Brown will not be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List prior to Sunday's game against the Dolphins, according to Dan Patrick. The league is scheduled to meet with Brown's accuser next week, so any move would likely come after that. Brown practiced on Wednesday and Thursday and seems on track to suit up vs. Miami. It's unclear how big a role he'll play after joining the team just last weekend, but Brown obviously boasts upside in a plus matchup.

Patriots HC Bill Belichick said WR Antonio Brown will practice on Wednesday, despite the sexual abuse allegations he's facing. When asked if Brown will play against the Dolphins this weekend, Belichick only said he'll take it "one day at a time.” We'll see if the league steps in before Sunday's game.

The Patriots confirmed that the NFL is investigating the sexual assault accusations against WR Antonio Brown. The league hasn't yet made an official statement on the situation. ESPN's Adam Schefter threw out the possibility of Brown being placed on the commissioner's exempt list, which would essentially suspend Brown while the investigation takes place. We'll continue to update this story as we learn more.

Patriots WR Antonio Brown is facing rape charges from former trainer Britney Taylor, according to The New York Times' Ben Shpigel. The lawsuit accuses Brown of 3 separate incidents of sexual assault -- two in June 2017 and another in May 2018. Taylor has agreed to cooperate with any investigation by the NFL. We'll see where this goes, but the league obviously takes these accusations very seriously. We wouldn't consider Brown a lock to be eligible for Sunday's game against Miami. Stay tuned.

Update: Brown's representatives have released a statement claiming this is a money-grab by Taylor. "Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit," the statement reads.

Welp, in the move everyone expected after his release, WR Antonio Brown has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Patriots. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Brown isn’t eligible to play Sunday night against his original team. We’d bet on him getting into the plan by Week 2, though. QB Tom Brady suddenly looks a lot more attractive for fantasy than he did just a few weeks ago, with Brown, Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon as his top 3 wideouts. Brown’s arrival clouds the target outlook for everyone in the offense, lowering all ceilings

The Raiders have released WR Antonio Brown, NFL Network reports. Frankly, it's not a shocking development after the way the past week has gone. Brown is not subject to waivers and can now sign with any team. We'd guess that he'll find another franchise willing to bet on the talent.

Another day, another page in the annoying Antonio Brown story. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders have fined the WR $215,073.53 for "conduct detrimental to the team." In doing so, Oakland also reportedly voided the $29.125 million in guaranteed money in Brown's contract. So Brown then told ESPN's Jeff Darlington, "No way I play after they took that and made my contract week to week." It looks like Brown owners need to approach Sunday lineup decisions as though the wideout will not play Monday night. And we'll see what the next update says.

Update: Brown has reportedly asked the team to release him.

Raiders HC Jon Gruden announced Friday that WR Antonio Brown will not be suspended and will play against the Broncos on Monday night. “Antonio is back today," HC Jon Gruden said. "We’re excited about that. Ready to move on.” The Raiders are clearly desperate to make this AB thing work and are giving him yet another chance, despite ongoing antics over the past couple of months. We have our doubts that it'll be smooth sailing from here and would consider using today's news as an opportunity to sell your Brown shares. But an active Brown belongs in Week 1 fantasy lineups.

Raiders WR Antonio Brown issued an "emotional apology" at Friday morning's team meeting, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. That's a step in the right direction, but we'll see if it's enough to save this marriage. Brown's status for Monday night's opener against the Broncos remains up in the air. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported yesterday that Brown would be suspended for that one, but we've heard nothing from the team.

Update: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that there's now a "real chance" Brown plays on Monday night.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders are "now planning to suspend" WR Antonio Brown after he and GM Mike Mayock "got into it" Wednesday. We'll see exactly what the plan is here, but fantasy football owners apparently need to be ready to hit Week 1 without Brown in lineups. That leaves more targets available for WR Tyrell Williams, TE Darren Waller and the RBs. It also hurts the already-unattractive fantasy outlook for QB Derek Carr.

Raiders WR Antonio Brown was on the field for Tuesday's practice with a certified helmet, according to HC Jon Gruden. “He’s all in. Ready to go," Gruden said. Brown filed another grievance against the NFL on Monday. But, at least for now, it looks like he's willing to play with a legal helmet while that situation is ongoing. Hopefully this is our last update on HelmetGate.

Raiders WR Antonio Brown rejoined the team and attended practice on Monday, according to Pro Football Talk. Brown had disappeared again after his preferred helmet failed a lab test over the weekend. It's unclear where things stand there, but showing back up is obviously a good sign. Stay tuned for more updates.

Raiders WR Antonio Brown has again left the team after the helmet he wants to wear failed a lab test, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "At this point, we have pretty much exhausted all avenues of relief," GM Mike Mayock said Sunday. "So from our perspective, it's time for him to be all in or all out. We're hoping he's back soon. We have 89 guys busting their tails. We are really excited about where this franchise is going, and we hope AB is going to be a big part of it starting Week 1 against Denver." The Raiders believe Brown's feet are now healthy enough to practice, so it's just the helmet issue keeping him away now. We'll continue to keep an eye on this saga.

Raiders GM Mike Mayock told HBO's Hard Knocks that he expects WR Antonio Brown (foot) to be back to full speed in a week. He was in uniform and worked out prior to Thursday night's preseason game against the Cardinals. (Here's some video.) Brown has participated in just 1 training-camp practice with his new team so far. He's been dropping to the early 3rd round in recent fantasy drafts.
