Raiders WR Jordy Nelson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. He didn’t practice all week, though, so don’t bank on him playing. With WR Martavis Bryant (knee) also out, Brandon LaFell and Seth Roberts figure to serve as Oakland’s top 2 WRs.

Update: The Raiders have downgraded Nelson to out.

Raiders WR Jordy Nelson is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Cardinals after suffering a knee bruise last weekend, HC Jon Gruden said. The 33-year-old Nelson has no reason to push through this injury in Oakland's lost season. The Raiders will also be without WR Martavis Bryant (knee), leaving Brandon LaFell and Seth Roberts atop the depth chart.

The Bengals have released WR Brandon LaFell. Cincinnati's #2 WR the past 2 seasons, LaFell was being pushed down the depth chart by the team's younger receivers, namely John Ross. LaFell's agent admitted that he'd be "lobbying" for his client's release. We'll see where LaFell lands, but he's unlikely to be a 2018 fantasy factor. Meanwhile, the door is open for a breakout season for Ross.

Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) is active for today’s game against the Broncos. The knee shouldn’t be a concern, but Denver’s strong secondary makes him a low-end WR4 for Week 11.

Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Broncos. He put in a full practice on Friday and should play. LaFell is coming off a big game vs. Tennessee but isn’t a recommended fantasy starter vs. Denver’s talented secondary.

Bengals WR John Ross (shoulder) is still expected to be sidelined a "couple of weeks," according to the team's official website. The rookie continues to rehab from surgery to repair a torn labrum. Missing all of spring workouts and the start of training camp makes him a long shot to make an early-season impact. Ross is only worth drafting late in best-ball leagues. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd figure to open the year as Cincinnati's 2nd and 3rd WRs behind A.J. Green.

The Bengals and WR Brandon LaFell have agreed to a new deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 30-year-old was a steady presence for Cincinnati last year, hauling in 64 balls for 862 yards and a team-high 6 TDs. He ranked 34th among WRs in PPR points and 33rd in non-PPR. LaFell certainly benefitted, though, from WR A.J. Green and TE Tyler Eifert missing a combined 14 games. If those guys stay healthier in 2017, LaFell's numbers figure to take a hit.

Bengals HC Marvin Lewis confirmed Wednesday that WR A.J. Green (hamstring) won't play in this weekend's finale against the Ravens. So he'll fall 36 yards short of his 6th straight 1,000-yard season. Brandon LaFell, Tyler Boyd and Cody Core will serve as Cincinnati's top 3 WRs vs. Baltimore.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Bengals' doctors won't let WR A.J. Green play tonight. He's been practicing for a couple of weeks now but evidently hasn't received full clearance. The fact that Cincinnati has nothing to play for probably has something to do with the decision, too. Green needs to head back to fantasy benches. With TE Tyler Eifert also out for tonight's game vs. Houston, WRs Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd should dominate targets.

Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms Glazer's reports and adds that Green isn't expected to play Week 17, either.

Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (back) has been ruled out for Saturday night's game against the Texans. We don't have any details on his injury -- or whether he'll be back for Week 17. C.J. Uzomah will step in as Cincinnati's lead TE but would be a desperation fantasy play. Eifert's absence keeps Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd on the WR3 radar, despite the return of A.J. Green.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) will not play against the Steelers today. He returned to limited practices this week and seemingly has a shot to play against the Texans next weekend. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will again serve as Cincinnati's top 2 WRs today.

Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 15. He returned to limited practices this week but won’t play against the Steelers on Sunday. A Week 16 return looks possible, so Green is still worth stashing. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will again serve as Cincinnati’s top 2 WRs this Sunday.

The forecast for today's Bengals-Browns game calls for 1-3 inches of snow and winds of 10-20 mph. We start to worry about the passing games when winds get over 15 mph, so this is a slight concern. Both teams figured to go run-heavy anyway, and the weather will only push them farther in that direction.

As expected, Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns. He's yet to resume practicing, so a Week 15 return seems unlikely. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will serve as Cincinnati's top 2 WRs in this weekend's plus matchup.

ESPN's Bon Holtzman confirms that Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) won't play against the Eagles this weekend. It sounds like he'll play again this season, but we don't have a concrete timetable for his return. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will again operate as Cincinnati's top 2 WRs on Sunday.

Bengals WR A.J. Green is believed to have a "significant" tear in his hamstring, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He's scheduled for an MRI to get a better idea of the damage. We should learn more tomorrow, but it sounds like Green is staring at a multi-week absence. That'd leave Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd as Cincinnati's top 2 WRs. It should also mean a bigger role for TE Tyler Eifert.

Update: The Bengals "fear" that Green is done for the season, according to Geoff Hobson of the team's official website.

Bengals WR Brandon LaFell is back at practice less than a week after tearing a ligament in his hand. He's expected to play in Cincinnati's 3rd preseason game. Opting against surgery, LaFell will attempt to play through the injury. We'll see how it impacts a guy who's struggled with drops even when at 100%. Insider Paul Dehner believes LaFell will open the season as the Bengals' #2 WR before giving way to rookie Tyler Boyd "somewhere in the Week 6-8 range." We'd rather take a shot on Boyd late in fantasy drafts, but neither guy will be a starting fantasy option early on this season.

Bengals WR Brandon LaFell has a torn ligament in his hand, according to insider Mike Garafolo. Surgery is reportedly still on the table, but LaFell could also opt to rehab the injury and play through it. HC Marvin Lewis, meanwhile, still believes LaFell could be ready by Week 1. Cincinnati isn't exactly forthcoming when it comes to injuries, so fantasy owners shouldn't be banking on that. LaFell isn't worth rostering in standard leagues. Rookie Tyler Boyd, meanwhile, becomes the odds-on favorite to finish 2nd among Bengals WRs in targets. He could even be #2 on the entire team if TE Tyler Eifert's ankle injury costs him significant regular-season time. Boyd's stock is on the rise.

Bengals QB Andy Dalton likes what he's seen from WR Brandon LaFell so far. “He’s been solid ever since he’s been here,” Dalton said. “I think the first time we were out on the field, it wasn’t like he was asking a lot of questions. You could tell that he was in his book, he understood what we were trying to accomplish. He’s a bigger-bodied guy that can make some tough catches. So I’ve been really impressed with him.” LaFell is expected to start on the outside along with A.J. Green, while rookie Tyler Boyd mans the slot. Don't expect big fantasy numbers here, but LaFell is a great bet to beat his current WR76 ADP.

In a recent Q&A with the team website, Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin intimated that the team expects to miss TE Tyler Eifert for some part of the regular season. In answering a question pertaining to the WR corps, Tobin said, "It’s a position group that’s going to have to step up – particularly with Eifert out early in the year." The article includes no further question or comment on Eifert's status, so we'll probably have to wait until at least training camp to get a more specific timeline for Eifert's return. For now, approach your fantasy football draft as though Eifert will not be ready for Week 1. If he's out, Tyler Kroft would figure to step in at TE. Gio Bernard and the WRs might find a few more targets available as well. This will be a key situation to watch through the summer.
