Broncos OLB Von Miller (ankle) and ILB Brandon Marshall (knee) are active for today's game against the Chiefs.

Broncos OLB Von Miller (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. HC Vance Joseph said Miller will be in the lineup, though, according to Pro Football Talk. If you're planning to use Miller, then he should be good to go. LB Brandon Marshall (knee) is also questionable. He has become a weak IDP contributor.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall is active for today's game against the Ravens. He entered the day questionable with a knee injury but looks OK for normal IDP usage. Marshall sits in LB3 range at best, playing less than 100% of defensive snaps so far.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens with a knee injury. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited workout Friday. A active Marshall will not be worth trusting in most IDP leagues in Week 3. Rookie Josey Jewell would likely start in his place if Marshall's inactive.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall (hamstring) is inactive for today's game against the Raiders. He's a weak IDP option, though. S T.J. Ward was previously ruled out with a concussion.

The Broncos have ruled S T.J. Ward (concussion) and LB Brandon Marshall (hamstring) out for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. DE Derek Wolfe is also questionable with an illness. He also aggravated a neck injury in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. The team will re-evaluate him Saturday, according to The Denver Post. With most of the league playing that day and just 1 game following Denver-K.C., most IDP owners should probably opt for another D-line option.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall (hamstring) is out for today's game against the Chargers. That should help the tackle upside for ILB Todd Davis, though he's not a special IDP option. Losing Marshall doesn't alter the team-D outlook for Denver, which does get OLB DeMarcus Ware back after 5 games down for a forearm fracture.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He put in just a limited practice Friday after missing the 1st 2 days this week. Even if active, Marshall will make for a risky, low-ceiling IDP option. Try to leave him on your bench.

The Broncos have agreed to a 4-year, $32 million extension with OLB Brandon Marshall. That clears the offseason issue -- which hadn't been much of a problem, given that Marshall had been practicing -- for a restricted free agent. It also indicates that the team isn't worried about long-term affects from the foot and ankle injuries that popped up the past 2 seasons. Marshall enjoyed a tremendous 2014 season after taking over for an injured Danny Trevathan but was slowed a bit by nagging injuries in 2015, despite playing all 16 games. IDP owners should expect better performance from Marshall this year, especially with Trevathan's free-agent departure likely to leave opportunities on the field. We'll see this summer just how healthy Marshall looks.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall had offseason surgery on his right index finger, according to The Denver Post. The finger limited him in the 1st week of OTAs and might continue to through the voluntary workouts, but the fact that he's practicing at all points to this being a non-issue. Marshall is also currently practicing without a contract. He has yet to sign the restricted free agent tender and hopes to get a long-term deal this offseason. Practicing with no deal is risky, in that an injury could leave the team owing him nothing. But Marshall's also showing that the contract situation shouldn't be a distraction. He could be in for a big bounce-back IDP year after playing through multiple physical issues in 2015.

The Jets would prefer rookie QB Christian Hackenberg to spend 2016 learning from the sideline but won't rule out him getting on the field.  "With any player coming into the league, there's definitely a maturation process. And it doesn't matter what position you play. I think quarterbacks are probably one of the harder positions to transition to the NFL," GM Mike Maccagnan said. "The reality of it is, though, is it's going to be determined by how he does."  Hackenberg's chance to play this season will grow if the Jets aren't able to bring back QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.  Inaccurate throughout his college career (56.1% completion rate), Hackenberg would be bad news for WRs Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker.

Broncos ILB Brandon Marshall (ankle) and S T.J. Ward (ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Marshall put in a limited practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Keep him out of your IDP lineup if you can. Ward managed a full practice Friday after limited participation the previous 2 days and appears on track to play. Ward's an IDP option, though not a top-15 type.

The Broncos have ruled ILB Danny Trevathan (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. That takes a strong recent contributor out of IDP lineups and a coverage threat out of the middle of the Denver D. We'd still use the Broncos D as you normally would. For IDP leagues, Brandon Marshall gains a bit more tackle upside.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall on Sunday aggravated a knee injury that has been dogging him for much of the season, according to The Denver Post. “It keeps lingering around. It’s something I got to fix, since Game 3 or 4,” he said. “It’s a sprain. It’ll hurt, but then two plays I’ll be able to come back and I’m good I won’t even feel it.” Marshall didn't miss much of the Chiefs loss, leading Broncos LBs by playing 86% of the defensive snaps. But add the knee issue to a foot that required 2 screws to repair a Lisfranc injury in the offseason, and you can understand if Marshall isn't quite in top form. He still led the team with 8 tackles against K.C., and we'll continue to use him in IDP leagues. But this is something to keep in mind.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall participated fully in team drills Thursday, according to The Denver Post. That puts him ahead of schedule in his return from surgery to repair a Lisfranc foot injury. "Definitely, I will be back by game one (of the regular season). The preseason I am not sure," Marshall said. "I know I had the surgery a little late. But to be in training camp this early going full speed, it's a blessing. It still doesn't feel great, but I have to push through that." That whole "doesn't feel great" part should keep IDP owners apprehensive, but defensive value is easier to find on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues than offense is. So Marshall's worth a gamble in LB3 territory -- barring any setbacks. We just bumped him up the 2015 IDP rankings.

The Jets added WR Devin Smith with the 37th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.  One of the best deep-ball weapons to enter the league in recent memory, Smith averaged 28.2 yards per catch this past season.  That included 17 catches, 754 yards and 10 TDs on targets 20+ yards downfield.  Smith boasts 4.4 speed with NFL-ready ball tracking and body control.  New York isn't the best landing spot, though.  He'll be the #3 WR at best in 2015 behind Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall.  And the Jets still have a big question mark at QB with Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick currently atop the depth chart.

The 3rd left knee injury for Broncos LB Danny Trevathan has ended his season. A Monday MRI revealed that Trevathan dislocated his kneecap in Sunday's win over the Chargers. He'll finish the year on IR. We'll see how Denver sorts out its LB group next year after Brandon Marshall's breakout season. Marshall will be an exclusive rights free agent in March, meaning he'll only hit the open market if Denver decides not to offer him anything. (Fat chance.) As for Marshall's 2014 status, The Denver Post reports that he expects to miss 1-2 weeks. That means you should treat him as being done for the season in your IDP league. Don't look to the Broncos reserves for a fantasy replacement. Their myriad LB injuries have left the group without further proven options.

Broncos LB Brandon Marshall reportedly suffered a mid-foot sprain in Sunday's game against the Chargers. The team has not announced an expected timeline for his recovery, but you should plan to not have Marshall available for your IDP lineup this weekend. Teammate Danny Trevathan also hurt his already twice-injured knee in the game, so we'll see if he'll even be available to fill in. You'll be best off looking elsewhere for Week 16 help, though.
