The Bucs released K Rodrigo Blankenship. That leaves Chase McLaughlin as the only kicker on the roster. We'll see if Tampa adds any further competition over the next couple of weeks, but McLaughlin looks like a good bet to open the season as the Bucs' kicker. He's a weak fantasy option on an offense that figures to struggle post-Tom Brady.

The Bucs are signing K Rodrigo Blankenship, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Blankenship nailed 86.5% of his FG attempts as a rookie for the Colts back in 2020. But he missed most of 2021 with a hip injury and was dumped by the Colts last September. Blankenship had surgery in January to repair a torn muscle in his leg, per Rapoport, and is "finally healthy for the first time in over a year." He'll compete with K Chase McLaughlin for Tampa's starting job.

The Browns have released kickers Chris Blewitt and Chase McLaughlin. McLaughlin attempted all but 1 of Cleveland’s FGs last year, drilling just 71.4%. The moves pave the way for rookie 4th-rounder Cade York to handle kicking duties in 2022.

Browns K Chase McLaughlin has been placed on the COVID list and will miss Saturday's game vs. the Packers. He'll be replaced by K Chris Naggar, who has yet to attempt a regular-season kick. Look elsewhere for Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Browns K Chase McLaughlin (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Chiefs. We’d still opt for a healthier option for Week 1 fantasy lineups.

Browns K Chase McLaughlin (hamstring) was added to the injury report on Friday and is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs. We'll keep tabs on his status but would look elsewhere for Week 1 fantasy lineups.
