The Chargers on Monday added 7 more players to the COVID list. That group included S Nasir Adderley, starting CBs Chris Harris Jr. and Michael Davis, and S Alohi Gilman, who filled in for Derwin James in Sunday's loss to the Texans. We'll see about the status for all of them as the week progresses.

Chargers CB Chris Harris Jr. is active for the 1st time since Week 5. He’s not much of an IDP option but challenges the coverage matchup for the Cleveland passing game — especially in the slot

Chargers CB Chris Harris Jr. is out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys with a shoulder injury. That leaves L.A. without its top cover man and primary slot corner. Dallas WR Cedrick Wilson likely stands to benefit the most. With Michael Gallup out, Wilson will serve as the #3 wideout and played 85% of his pass snaps in the slot in Week 1.

Chargers CB Chris Harris is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a foot injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That's not a big deal for IDP purposes, but Harris' absence will be good news for opponent slot WRs while he's out. For Sunday, that will be Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin -- if he's able to return from his hamstring injury. Beyond that sit the Saints, Jets and Dolphins.

As expected, Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) is active for today's game at Denver. There was a mild scare after last week's win over the Chiefs when Edelman went to the X-ray room after the game but wouldn't elaborate on his status. But he put in the same level of practice participation this week as last and should be fine to use. Broncos CB Chris Harris (shoulder) -- who's likely to follow Edelman in coverage for much of the game -- is active after fully practicing all week. Expect the Patriots to test him early and stick with that approach for as long as it works. Harris admittedly struggled through last week's win over Pittsburgh.

Broncos CB Chris Harris (shoulder) is probable and expected to play in Sunday's game against the Patriots. He put in full workouts all week after admitting that his shoulder bothered him a lot vs. Pittsburgh. If he remains hampered this Sunday -- which seems likely -- Harris might have trouble with New England's lead wideout, Julian Edelman. Expect the Patriots to test Harris early, and keep going after him if that succeeds.

Here's how Broncos CB Chris Harris described playing with his injured shoulder in Sunday's win over the Steelers, according to The Denver Post: “It affected my whole game. It was so hard to play. I preach on getting hands every time on somebody. It’s hard playing my game, and part of my game is taken away. I have to figure out a way.” Denver has added a CB to the roster this week, so we'll see if Harris can continue to play through the issue. If he's on the field at New England on Sunday, you can bet Patriots QB Tom Brady will test him in coverage. We'll keep that in mind as we weigh this week's WR rankings.

Dr. James Andrews has cleared Broncos LB Von Miller to take the field for the start of camp, according to The Denver Post.  GM John Elway said Miller won't take part in contact drills until the week of the 3rd preseason game in late August.  But the news is encouraging for a star player who tore his right ACL in the 2nd-to-last regular-season game.  Broncos CB Chris Harris, on the other hand, will start camp on the PUP thanks to his Jan. 12 ACL tear.  Both are key to the Denver D, though Miller's return should mean more to the unit's fantasy value.

Broncos CB Chris Harris told the Tulsa World that he's "probably about 85 percent right" in his recovery from last season's ACL tear. "I have one more month of training and then I finally get [medically cleared] so I’m excited about that,” he added. That would put him on the field at the start of training camp. Don't be surprised if the team starts Harris slowly in camp, even if he gets full clearance by late July. We'll see how he looks in the preseason, but Harris could benefit from talent upgrades around the Denver defense this offseason. When healthy, his slot coverage his key to the pass D, and Harris can be a fringe IDP option.

Broncos CB Chris Harris left in the 1st half of Sunday's meeting with Dallas because of a concussion.  He'll obviously have to pass through the league protocol before returning to the field.  We'll see how long that takes.  Harris' absence hurts a secondary that has already been dealing with an injured Champ Bailey.
