Washington S DeAngelo Hall suffered a torn right ACL in Sunday's win over the Giants. That will end his season -- and quite possibly the career of the DB, who will turn 33 in November. Fantasy owners should hope that this development turns into more playing time for safety/LB hybrid Su'a Cravens, though he doesn't quite fit the FS void that Hall leaves behind. Washington is also awaiting further word on CB Bashaud Breeland's status after he suffered an ankle injury Sunday.

Washington CB Bashaud Breeland left on a cart in the 1st half against the Giants after injuring his left ankle. We'll keep an eye out for further details. Breeland entered Week 3 as a top-5 fantasy DB. S DeAngelo Hall also left the game with a hamstring injury.

Washington LB Keenan Robinson is out for today's game against the Saints. He's officially listed with a shoulder injury but has dealt with a bevy of ailments. Will Compton and Perry Riley will likely start at the ILB spots. CB DeAngelo Hall, however, is active for the 1st time since suffering a toe injury back in Week 3. He'll be tough to trust in fantasy right away but carries upside against a pass-happy Saints offense.

Washington has deemed CB Bashaud Breeland probable for Sunday's game against the Saints despite a hamstring issue. That makes him usable in a high-upside matchup for IDP owners. CB DeAngelo Hall is questionable with the toe injury that has kept him out since Week 3. ILB Keenan Robinson is questionable with a shoulder injury, 1 among a bevy of issues that have dogged him this season. Robinson's an OK IDP option but hasn't offered nearly as much value this year as last.

Washington will have ILB Keenan Robinson (rib), OLB Ryan Kerrigan (hand), CB Chris Culliver (knee) and Bashaud Breeland (hamstring) available for today's game at New England. All are active despite entering the day questionable. CB DeAngelo Hall remains out, however, with the toe injury he suffered back in Week 3 against the Giants.

Washington ILB Perry Riley (lower leg) is probable for Sunday's game at New England after putting in full practices all week. He has had a recurrent calf issue and not much production, though, so Riley doesn't make for a strong IDP candidate. Fellow ILB Keenan Robinson is questionable with a rib injury. He curiously missed Thursday's practice and put in only a limited Friday workout after practicing in full Wednesday. Don't bother with Robinson in your IDP lineup if you can help it. OLB Ryan Kerrigan is questionable with his repaired hand fracture after putting in limited practices all week. DC Joe Barry indicated via the team website that he believes Kerrigan will play. The team also lists CBs Bashaud Breeland (hamstring), Chris Culliver (knee) and DeAngelo Hall (toe) as questionable. Breeland put in limited practices the past 2 days after missing Wednesday. Culliver sat out Friday after practicing the previous 2 days on a limited basis coming out of the bye. Hall put in limited practices each day but hasn't played since suffering his toe injury back in Week 3 against the Giants. We'll check on all 3 corners Sunday morning.

Washington has ruled CB DeAngelo Hall out for Sunday's game against the Eagles because of the toe injury that knocked him out of last Thursday's loss to the Giants.

Washington CB DeAngelo Hall says he suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in Sunday's loss at Philadelphia, according to ESPN's John Keim.  That would obviously end the year for the high-ceiling IDP.  E.J. Biggers sits behind Hall on the depth chart, though Bashaud Breeland got on the field a lot against Philly.  Either would have to prove himself an IDP target before you should bother with him.

Washington CB DeAngelo Hall left Sunday morning's practice with a back injury.  Hall hit the ground hard after going up to defense a pass and was later carted off the sideline.  The injury turned out to only be a bruise, however, which doesn't seem like it should affect Hall's readiness for the season.  He remains an undervalued IDP target, especially if your league plays with CB-specific slots.  Hall gets burned often in coverage but makes a fair number of tackles and provides 1 of the position's best big-play profiles.  Check our 2014 IDP rankings to see where you should target the veteran.

Washington CB DeAngelo Hall watched Tuesday's walkthrough from the sideline while wearing a protective boot on his right ankle.  Hall rolled the ankle in Monday's workouts but said the injury isn't serious.  He told CSN Washington that he'd have tried to get back on the field were it a game and only expects to miss a few days.  Rookie David Amerson stepped into the lineup in his place.  That should worry Hall a bit.  Amerson's talent intrigued many back at draft time, and some viewed him as a potential 1st-round pick.  Washington reluctantly brought Hall back on a low-risk contract after allowing him to hit the free market.  If Amerson impresses, he could swipe Hall's job.

The Redskins have re-signed CB DeAngelo Hall.  He was released a few weeks ago with a scheduled salary of $8 million.  The new deal will pay him $2.25 million -- a more reasonable number for a guy who was torched all last year.  Hall finished 90th out of 113 qualifying CBs in Pro Football Focus' 2012 pass-coverage rankings.  Only New Orleans' Patrick Robinson gave up more yards in coverage.  Hall was a decent contributor in fantasy, though, racking up 94 tackles, 14 pass deflections and 4 INTs.

As expected, Washington has released CB DeAngelo Hall. The move saves the team $8 million in cap space. Hall produces quality fantasy numbers perennially. But Washington becomes the straight team to dump him before the end of his contract. Oakland did so in 2008 after less than a year. Heading into his age-30 season this time, Hall should have a hard time finding another starting job.

Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall (knee) won't play against the Raiders this weekend.  It's still a tough matchup for QB Bruce Gradkowski, who is a weak play even in 2-QB leagues.

CB DeAngelo Hall (knee) will likely miss his 2nd straight game when the Redskins host the Saints this Sunday.  Washington ranks 4th in fantasy points allowed to QBs, yielding only 13.5 points per game.  But without Hall in the lineup last weekend, Eagles QB Donovan McNabb scored 15.8.  QB Drew Brees and Co. shouldn't have any problem putting points on the board this Sunday.

Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall (knee) will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.  This is a significant upgrade for Saints QB Drew Brees and WR Marques Colston.
