Titans TE Delanie Walker is "doing good" after leaving Saturday's preseason game with a breathing issue, according to HC Mike Mularkey. “He’s fine… He just had congestion in his chest," Mularkey explained. "He just went back and did a little, the kind of thing you do if you have asthma, and it cleared him right up. We just felt at that point, be smart with him … He should practice tomorrow.” This seems like a non-issue moving forward.

Titans TE Delanie Walker left Saturday night's game when he was having trouble breathing, and he told The Tennessean that it took him about an hour beyond that to catch his breath. “They just brought me in, checked my lungs, making sure I was able to breathe, tested my blood and stuff,” Walker said. “We really won’t know until we get back to the facility and go from there. We’ll have to see when we get there, see what it was. I feel fine now. It was probably just an episode.” We don't know exactly what they were testing for, but we'll certainly keep an eye on this situation. Let's hope the Titans provide an update before Sunday drafting. If we don't get anything before your draft begins, then exercise some slight caution with Walker.

The Titans and TE Delanie Walker have agreed to a 2-year, $14.7 million extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.  It tacks on to the final year remaining of his current deal, locking up Walker through the 2018 season.  Despite turning 32 in August, his catches and yards have climbed each of the past 3 seasons in Tennessee.  Walker will be hard-pressed to match last year's 94-1,088-6 line, but he should produce as a solid TE1.

The Titans have fired HC Ken Whisenhunt.  He went 3-20 over the last season-and-a-half, getting out-scored to 597 to 379.  Former TEs coach Mike Mularkey will take over as Tennessee's interim HC.  He was Jacksonville's HC back in 2012, leading the Jags to a 2-14 record.  Mularkey was also HC for the Bills in 2004 and 2005, compiling a 14-18 record.  We doubt the coaching change makes much of a fantasy impact the rest of the way.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (wrist) is active for today’s game against the Colts. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday, so the wrist shouldn’t be an issue. Walker totaled 12 catches, 127 yards and 1 TDs in 2 games vs. Indy last year.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (wrist) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Colts after practicing all week. He should return to a big role in the passing game in a plus matchup. Walker totaled 12 catches, 127 yards and 1 TDs in 2 games vs. Indy last year.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (wrist) put in a full practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. It looks like he's on track to play in a plus matchup against the Colts this weekend. Walker will be a mid-range TE1 for that one.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (wrist) put in a limited practice on Wednesday.  He also practiced last Friday before missing the Browns game, so this doesn't necessarily mean he's in better shape now.  We're still betting on Walker playing agains the Colts this weekend, but continue to monitor his status.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (hand) is inactive for today’s game against the Browns. It’s a significant loss for QB Marcus Mariota and figures to mean a few extra targets for WR Kendall Wright.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports that "sources" tell her Titans TE Delanie Walker will miss today's game against the Browns. It's a bit of a surprise after he put in a full practice Friday, but those tend to be light workouts. Find another option if you were planning on starting Walker today.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (hand) returned to a full practice on Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. He’s listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Browns. Walker said Friday afternoon that he expects to play, but insider Paul Kuharsky still considers him “iffy.” The wrist issue obviously adds risk, so consider him more of a low-end TE1 if active on Sunday.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (wrist) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday.  HC Ken Whisenhunt said that Walker is "a little closer" to returning, but consider him no better than 50/50 to play against the Browns this weekend.  We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (hand) missed practice on Wednesday. We’ll follow his participation throughout the week, but he’s clearly optimistic about playing Week 2. “I am doing great, actually,” Walker said after the session. “Things are moving smoothly, and I am doing better today than yesterday. So we’ll have to see.”

Titans HC Ken Whisenhunt said he's "optimistic" about TE Delanie Walker's available for this weekend's game against the Browns.  "There's a chance he'll play this week. We'll see how it progresses during the week,” Whiz said. “That was good news…because on the field, I thought it was broken. And it's not, so that's good."  We'll keep an eye on Walker's practice participation this week.  Owners should be lining up a backup plan in the meantime.

Titans TE Delanie Walker suffered a right hand injury in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's opener.  He was down for a few minutes and walked back to the locker room with the trainers.  Walker missed a chunk of August with a thumb injury, although it's unclear if this is related.  Stay tuned for updates.

Titans TE Delanie Walker suffered a thumb injury in practice Thursday that required 12 stitches, according to the team website. “I’m not concerned about it,” Walker said. “The trainers just wanted me to be smart about it, so I just went inside and made sure everything was OK with it.” Walker said he'll meet with a hand specialist "just to make sure everything is OK." If it is, we'll go right on treating him as a low TE1 across fantasy formats.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) is active for tonight’s matchup vs. Jacksonville. He’s safe to deploy as a mid-range TE1.

Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) is listed as questionable but seems unlikely to play against the Giants this weekend.  He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday after injuring that hand on Wednesday.  Wright admitted on Friday afternoon that he's "not optimistic" about playing on Sunday.  With Justin Hunter on IR, Tennessee is left with Nate Washington and Derek Hagan as its top 2 WRs.  Washington is a WR3 flier in season-long leagues and cheap option in DFS.  TE Delanie Walker is a good bet to lead the Titans in targets this week.

10:43am EST 11/23/14

Titans TE Delanie Walker (concussion) is active for today’s game against the Eagles. Philly sits 2nd in fantasy points allowed to TEs but just 16th in Football Outsiders’ TE coverage rankings. Walker should also have volume on his side today. He’s a fine fantasy starter.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (concussion) practiced all week and is probable for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. Tennessee figures to be playing catch-up in that one. Walker is fine to get back into fantasy lineups as a mid-range TE1.
