Titans TE Delanie Walker (concussion) put in a full practice on Thursday.  We still haven't heard that he's received full medical clearance, but HC Ken Whisenhunt confirmed that Walker is expected to play against the Eagles this weekend.  He'll be a solid fantasy starter in a game that figures to see Tennessee playing from behind.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Titans TE Delanie Walker (shoulder) will play against the Colts today.  Walker got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday.  With QB Charlie Whitehurst under center, the Titans offense figures to struggle today.  That leaves Walker without a ton of upside.  But he could be busy on short, checkdown-type throws from Whitehurst.  Consider Walker a low-end TE1.

Per team insider Jim Wyatt, Titans TE Delanie Walker has struggled with drops in training camp. Walker had butter fingers while a member of the 49ers. But in 2013 – his first year in Tennessee – he posted an acceptable 7.69% drop rate (nearly identical to Jason Witten’s mark). It’s something to watch this preseason, but we still like Walker as a high-end TE2. The Titans open their preseason Saturday against Green Bay.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean believes “all signs point to a big year” from Titans TE Delanie Walker. The former 49er finished 2013 with a solid 60-571-6 line. But it could have been even better, as he was limited in OTAs last year with a knee injury and began training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Now fully healthy, Wyatt expects Walker to finish in the “60-catch neighborhood” again in 2014. We'd add that Walker has a great chance at improving his 9.5 yards-per-catch mark from last season.  There’s TE1 appeal here, although he's best suited as 1 part of a fantasy committee.

The Titans' new coaching staff is loaded with TE expertise.  HC Ken Whisenhunt played TE for 9 NFL seasons and has coached the position in the college and pro ranks.  OC Jason Michael is a former Chargers TE coach.  And Tennessee just hired former NFL TE Mike Mularkey as TEs coach.  So it stands to reason that TE Delanie Walker might have a significant role in the team's passing attack.  "I’m excited that he’s on this team and I’ll have a chance to work with him," Whisenhunt said. “Working with Antonio Gates got me excited about the position, and I think there’s a lot of elements to what Delanie does that are similar in that capacity.”  Walker turned in a solid 60-571-6 line in 2013, finishing 12th among TEs in fantasy points.  He's capable of at least matching that production this coming season.  Walker will be a fine target as part of a TE-by-committee for your fantasy squad.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, despite not practicing all week.  It looks like the team will put him through concussion testing at least 1 more time in hopes of gaining clearance, but that seems unlikely.  Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on Walker this week.
