Burns went from a limited Wednesday to sitting out Thursday but then practice in full on Friday. That progression makes him seem likely to play. Brown went limited, no practice, limited and looks more iffy for the game. We'll check the status of both when inactives arrive Sunday morning.

Panthers DT Derrick Brown left Friday night's preseason game with an oblique injury and will not return. We'll see how serious the issue is for a guy who should be Carolina's top DT.
