The Cardinals somehow managed to let Broncos RB Latavius Murray run for 130 yards and a TD on 24 carries in Sunday's Denver victory. Murray hit runs of 35 and 21 yards, averaging 5.4 per rush overall. RB Marlon Mack ran 5 times for 37 yards and a TD, adding 4 receptions for 26 yards on 4 targets. His target count tied for 2nd on the team, and Mack ranked 2nd along in catches. Murray caught his only target for 12 yards. RB Devine Ozigbo mixed in for 2 carries for 2 yards.

Broncos RB Chase Edmonds suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Raiders and is expected to miss "multiple weeks," according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Edmonds can be dropped from all redraft rosters. The news makes RB Melvin Gordon's release even more surprising. Denver is down to RBs Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack for now. RB Devine Ozigbo is on the practice squad; RB Mike Boone is eligible to come off IR for Week 13.

As expected, Broncos RB Latavius Murray is a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs. the Colts. Expect him to make his Broncos debut next week. RB Devine Ozigbo was elevated from the practice squad today and is active. He figures to see most of his action on special teams. We're expecting RB Melvin Gordon to handle most of the backfield work, with RB Mike Boone mixing in.

Saints RB Tony Jones is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with an ankle injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Giants, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Jones can be dropped from fantasy rosters. The Saints signed RB Devine Ozigbo in a corresponding move. It's now Ozigbo, Dwayne Washington and Ty Montgomery behind Alvin Kamara on the depth chart. Kamara will continue to dominate backfield work.

As expected, Jaguars RB James Robinson (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Bears. His absence leaves Jacksonville's backfield to Devine Ozigbo and Dare Ogunbowale. Neither is a bankable fantasy play.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (ankle) won't play against the Bears tomorrow, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The rookie's absence leaves Jacksonville with RBs Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozgibo, who have combined for 15 touches this season. Try to avoid this backfield in Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bears. HC Doug Marrone said Wednesday that Robinson was on track to play, but it's unclear if that's still the case after the rookie missed practice all week. It's worth noting again that the experts at ProFootballDoc.com believe Robinson suffered a high-ankle sprain last week. Fantasy owners should certainly have an alternative lined up for Week 16 lineups. Robinson's absence would leave Jacksonville's backfield to Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo. Neither would be a bankable fantasy play.

Jaguars RB James Robinson injured his ankle in the 2nd half of Sunday’s game against the Ravens. The folks at ProFootballDoc.com believe Robinson is likely dealing with a high-ankle sprain. If that’s the case, he’ll likely miss the final 2 games of the season. We should get an update on his status tomorrow. Robinson's absence would leave Jacksonville's backfield to Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo.

The Jaguars placed RB Chris Thompson on the COVID list. He'll miss Sunday's game against the Chargers -- and potentially more action beyond that. In a corresponding move, RB Devine Ozigbo (hamstring) was activated from IR. Ozigbo looked set to play a big role for the Jags this season before a September hamstring injury sidelined him. James Robinson has taken over Jacksonville's backfield since, but we'll see what kind of role Ozigbo can carve out.

Jaguars RB Devine Ozigbo (hamstring) has been placed on IR. That knocks him out for at least the first 3 games of the season. With RB Ryquell Armstead on the COVID list, Jacksonville is down to RBs James Robinson, Chris Thompson and newly signed Dare Ogunbowale. Robinson is now a safe bet to lead the way in carries in this weekend's opener against the Colts. Thompson should handle the majority of the passing-game work.

Jaguars RB Devine Ozigbo was held out of Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury. That puts his availability for this weekend's opener against the Colts in question. Jacksonville signed former Bucs RB Dare Ogunbowale on Wednesday, which might be a sign that Ozigbo will miss Week 1. We'll get another update on his status on Thursday.

The Jaguars' initial -- "unofficial" -- depth chart lists rookie RB James Robinson as the starter, with Devine Ozigbo and Chris Thompson following him on the depth chart. There are varying levels of truth to these things by team, so we wouldn't go trusting this completely. Let's treat it as a reminder, though, that Jacksonville sports a muddled backfield on what figures to be 1 of the league's worst teams. As long as you're not over-invested in any Jaguars RB, you're doing it right. Robinson, Ozigbo and Thompson should all be rostered in most leagues of 12+ teams with 2+ slots where RBs can start. Thompson's past receiving production and history with OC Jay Gruden makes him the best initial bet for role/touches.

Jaguars HC Doug Marrone says it will be "a while" before RB Ryquell Armstead is ready to play. Armstead is back on the COVID list after opening camp there. He also missed time this summer with a groin injury, so he hasn't practiced much. It'll be Devine Ozigbo, Chris Thompson and James Robinson in Jacksonville's backfield at least for Week 1. None is an exciting fantasy option out of the gate -- but they're all worth stashing in most leagues.

The Jaguars have placed RB Ryquell Armstead on the COVID list. It's the 2nd time he's landed there. Armstead also dealt with a groin injury throughout camp, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. It's looking like it'll be Chris Thompson, Devine Ozigbo and James Robinson in Jacksonville's backfield for Week 1.

The Jaguars are, in fact, done with RB Leonard Fournette. According to multiple reports, the team is releasing the former 1st-round pick. This relationship has been headed for a bad ending for a couple of years now, but this is still a shocking ending: dumping Fournette for absolutely no return. That suggests some continued off-field issues with the RB. We'd still bet on another team taking a shot on Fournette now that there's no risk. Jacksonville, meanwhile, will apparently turn its backfield over to a committee of Ryquell Armstead, Chris Thompson and Devine Ozigbo. We'll see if the Jags add anyone else before the regular season. There's no player in the remaining backfield worth committing to strongly, but the opportunity upside is obvious for any Jaguars RB who makes it to the double-digit rounds of your draft.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (illness) is inactive for today’s finale against the Colts. Rookie Ryquell Armstead should operate as the lead back, with Devine Ozigbo as the #2 RB.
