Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie suffered a concussion early in Sunday's loss to the Falcons. That puts his Week 3 status in serious doubt with the team hosting Washington on Thursday night. DRC's absence could help Washington's top WR, Pierre Garcon, who primarily faced St. Louis' left CB Janoris Jenkins in coverage Sunday.

The Broncos got LT Ryan Clady and CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie back on the practice field Saturday.  It was Clady's 1st action in full-team drills since his offseason shoulder surgery.  DRC, meanwhile, had been sitting out a little more than a week after spraining his ankle in practice.  The returns of both starters obviously help Denver on each side of the ball.  Fantasy owners should be most encouraged by the return of the franchise LT, which can only help the team maximize its enormous offensive potential.

Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie suffered just a high ankle sprain in a practice that saw him carted off.  The injury regularly costs players multiple weeks and could still keep him our for much of the rest of camp, but DRC should be ready for the regular season, still more than a month away.  Fantasy football owners need not worry about the injury's impact on the team defense or IDP draft plans.

Now that he is finally, officially, heading to the Eagles, CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will enjoy an improved fantasy profile. He'll never be a strong tackle producer, but playing opposing CB Asante Samuel will assure he gets tested. Despite his inconsistent performance, DRC has picked 13 passes in 3 seasons and returned 4 for TDs. He's a high-ceiling option in big-play IDP formats. The inconsistency and lack of tackles does mean you shouldn't take him too early. The CB combo only adds to the attractive pass rush to create a nice-looking fantasy team D.

Rumors persist that the Cardinals could send CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to Philly for QB Kevin Kolb after the lockout ends. We think such a move makes plenty of sense if Arizona believes in Kolb. Locating a franchise QB in the NFL is essential. At CB, the Cards could plug in No. 5 pick Patrick Peterson for DRC across from Greg Toler and/or pursue Ike Taylor in free agency. Taylor's DB coach in Pittsburgh, Ray Horton, is now Arizona's DC. In Philly, DRC would fill a huge need and increase his fantasy value across from Asante Samuel. Just another situation to watch in the inevitable post-lockout flurry.

Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie missed practice again on Wednesday and said his injured knee had not improved since Monday.  He'll be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Packers.  His absence would be a big blow to a Cardinals secondary that will have trouble matching up with the Packers WRs even with DRC in the lineup.

Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.  It looks like he'll play against the Packers on Sunday, but he won't be near 100%.

Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie practiced again on Friday and declared himself 100% healthy.  He'll start against the Packers and give his team a better chance at slowing down Aaron Rodgers and Co.

Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie left in the 1st quarter of Saturday's loss to the Saints with a knee injury.  He ended up on the sidelines on crutches for the rest of the night.  After the game, DRC said that he thinks he tore ligaments.  He'll undergo an MRI this week.

An MRI on Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's injured left knee revealed a chipped tibia and a sprained MCL.  The team can breath a sigh of relief after what was thought to be a serious injury.  DRC will be fine for 2010 training camp.

Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie left tonight's game against the Giants with an ankle injury.  He was carted into the locker room for X-rays, which revealed no structural damage.  DRC did not return to the game though and was on the sideline with a bag of ice on the ankle.  If he's forced to miss any time, it'd be a big blow to Arizona's secondary.
