The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the Bears have agreed to a 1-year deal with WR Kendall Wright. The former 1st-round pick spent his 1st 5 seasons with the Titans and displayed promise through 3 of them. Wright lost 11 games to injuries over the past 2 years, though, and totaled just 65 receptions over that span. He joins a Bears offense that ran Cameron Meredith primarily from the slot over the 2nd half of last season -- to surprising success -- and still has slot man Eddie Royal on the roster. Royal carries a $5 million salary for 2017, though, and the Chicago Tribune reported earlier this month that the team is is expected to release him. At this point, we'd slot Wright behind Kevin White and Meredith for fantasy -- in an offense unlikely to support 3 worthwhile fantasy wideouts. It's worth noting, at least, that Wright played under Bears OC Dowell Loggains when Loggains piloted Tennessee's offense in 2013. Wright produced career highs in receptions (94) and receiving yards (1,079) that season and ranked 20th among PPR receivers.

Bears WR Marquess Wilson is out for Sunday’s game against the Packers. He was previously dealing with a groin injury but actually broke his foot in practice this week. So he’s likely done for the season. WR Eddie Royal (toe) is also out, leaving Alshon Jeffery, Cameron Meredith and Josh Bellamy as Chicago’s top 3 WRs.

Bears Josh Bellamy (shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Lions. He’ll start alongside WR Cameron Meredith. WRs Marquess Wilson (groin) and Eddie Royal (toe) are inactive.

Bears WRs Marquess Wilson (groin) and Josh Bellamy (shoulder) are both listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Lions. WR Eddie Royal (toe) is doubtful and won’t play. If you’re dabbling in Chicago WRs, Cameron Meredith is your best bet.

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is inactive for today's game against the 49ers. He barely played last week. Cameron Meredith and Marquess Wilson are Chicago's clear top 2 WRs.

11:37am EST 11/27/16

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is active for today’s game against the Titans. He didn’t practice all week. And with Matt Barkley under center, Royal should not be in fantasy lineups.

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, despite not practicing all week. We'll find out his status by noon ET, but he shouldn't be in fantasy lineups at less than 100% and with Matt Barkley under center.

11:35am EST 11/20/16

Bears WR Marquess Wilson (foot) is active for today’s game against the Giants. He figures to serve as Chicago’s #3 WR in his 2016 debut behind Cameron Meredith and Eddie Royal. Wilson shouldn’t be in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Winds of 20-22 mph are expected for today's Bears-Giants game. That definitely hurts both Ks and is just enough to impact the passing games. We've adjusted our projections for this game a tad. Click here for updated rankings.

Bears WR Alshon Jeffery has been suspended 4 games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, the NFL Network reports. It's unclear if Jeffery will begin serving the ban immediately or appeal. He'd be wise to get it over with at least by the end of this season considering he's a free agent in the offseason. So Jeffery owners should expect to be without him for some 4-game stretch among the final 7 weeks (6 in most fantasy leagues). His absence will leave Cameron Meredith and Eddie Royal as Chicago's top 2 WRs.

Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Jeffery's suspension begins immediately. He'll miss Weeks 11 through 14. That makes him eligible for the final 2 weeks of most fantasy leagues, with games against the Packers and Redskins. He's worth hanging on to if you can afford to burn a roster spot but is certainly droppable in shallower leagues.

11:38am EST 11/13/16

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is active for today’s game against the Bucs. He remained limited at practice all week. We’d avoid Royal in fantasy lineups in his 1st action since Week 6.

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bucs after a limited week of practice. We’re expecting him to play, but he shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups at less than 100%.

7:17pm EDT 10/31/16

As expected, Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) will miss tonight’s game vs. the Vikings. Chicago will roll with Alshon Jeffery, Cam Meredith and Zach Miller as their top-3 targets.

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) didn't practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Monday night's game against the Vikings. He won't play. Alshon Jeffery, Cameron Meredith and Zach Miller will serve as Chicago's top 3 targets in a brutal matchup.

Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Packers. TE Zach Miller figures to be the biggest beneficiary of Royal's absence. WRs Alshon Jeffery and Cameron Meredith should also pick up a few extra targets.
