The MRI has confirmed that 49ers DE Nick Bosa tore his left ACL in Sunday's win over the Jets. So his season's done. It's also the 2nd ACL tear of his football career. Bosa previously tore his right ACL in high school. That at least means Bosa has been through the process. We'll see about his progress during the offseason. The Niners, meanwhile, agreed to a 1-year deal with DE Ezekiel Ansah to help fill the void.

Seahawks CB Shaquill Griffin (hamstring) and DE Ezekiel Ansah (neck) are inactive for today's game against the Panthers. They join DE Jadeveon Clowney and LB Mychal Kendricks, who we already knew would sit. An already-average Seattle D looks vulnerable.

Seahawks DE Jadeveon Clowney (core) is active for tonight's game against the Rams. DE Ezekiel Ansah (neck) is inactive. Use Clowney as you normally would in your IDP lineups.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) is active for today’s game against the Falcons. There’s some risk after he missed last week, but he also carries significant sack upside against Atlanta. CB Tre Flowers (neck) and S Quandre Diggs (hamstring) are inactive for the game. S Bradley McDougald (back) is active but isn’t a strong IDP option.

The Seahawks have ruled out DL Quinton Jefferson (oblique) for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Jefferson played through a questionable tag last week but stayed on the field for less than one-third of the defensive snaps. DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) is questionable. He missed last week before putting in limited practices all this week. S Quandre Diggs (hamstring), S Bradley McDougald (back) and CB Tre Flowers (neck) are also questionable. Diggs just arrived via trade and faces an uncertain role. McDougald missed last week's game and Wednesday's practice but returned for limited workouts the past 2 days. Flowers took part in limited practices all week.

Seahawks S Bradley McDougald (back) and DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) are inactive for today's game against the Ravens. DT Quinton Jefferson (knee) is active after hitting the day questionable.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle), S Bradley McDougald (back) and DL Quinton Jefferson (oblique) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. McDougald missed practice all week and shouldn't be in your IDP plans. He's gotten off to a disappointing fantasy start anyway after a solid 2018. Jefferson showed up on the injury report Thursday and finished the week with a pair of limited practices. Ansah returned to a limited workout Friday after missing the 1st 2 days. We'll check the status for all 3 on Sunday afternoon.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury. We hadn't seen any previous reports of the ailment, but that might explain his significant decrease in playing time against the Browns. Ansah doesn't look like a good IDP bet against Baltimore -- even if he shows up active.

Seahawks CB Tre Flowers is active for today's game against the Saints. He entered the day questionable with an ankle issue that popped up during the week, limiting his Thursday practice and sidelining him Friday. Flowers carries risk but is available as a low-level IDP. Rookie DE L.J. Collier is a bit of a surprise inactive. He wouldn't be an IDP target even if he were playing, but the 1st-round pick returned from his preseason ankle sprain to play limited snaps last week and then didn't appear on the injury report this week. Collier's likely still working back to full strength overall, while Seattle needed the spot on the active roster. Notably, DE Ezekiel Ansah will make his Seahawks debut after missing the 1st 2 games. He put in full practices all week and finished off the injury report.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) is inactive for the 2nd straight game. HC Pete Carroll expressed optimism (what else is new?) about Ansah's chances of playing early in the week. We'd expect that Ansah will return for Week 3. Rookie DE L.J. Collier, meanwhile, will make his NFL debut today against the Steelers. He had been out through most of the summer with an ankle injury. The Seattle edge picture is still developing.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Ansah sat out Week 1 following a "questionable" designation. He looks like to make his Seattle debut, however, after putting in full workouts Thursday and Friday. HC Pete Carroll said early in the week that he expected Ansah to be ready for Week 2. The matchup with Pittsburgh is poor for sack upside, so try to hold off before putting Ansah into your IDP lineup.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah is out for today's game against the Bengals. Ansah was listed on the injury report with the shoulder that had offseason surgery. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says he has been dealing with a groin issue lately, though. Ansah probably shouldn't be in IDP lineups until we see him for at least 1 game.

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's opener against the Bengals. Ansah put in limited practices all week and should be ready to play. For how many snaps coming off his shoulder surgery? We'll see. Ansah is a risk-reward option for sack-heavy IDP formats. Rookie DE L.J. Collier is not yet ready to return from his summer ankle injury. He put in limited practices all week, but Seattle has ruled him out agains the Bengals.

The Seahawks don't expect DE Ezekiel Ansah to return to practice until after the start of training camp, HC Pete Carroll said Tuesday, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Ansah has been taking part in walkthroughs to learn the defense, and Carroll says he's working to regain strength in his repaired shoulder -- which is healed. "These six weeks coming up will be crucial, and we have a really specific plan set up for him," Carroll said. "I don't think we'll rush him. There won't be a need to start him up right out of the chutes, and we'll see how he goes in the weeks to follow." IDP owners should be apprehensive with Ansah this summer. He lost 9 games to injury last year and 14 total over the past 3 years.

According to multiple reports, the Seahawks have agreed to terms with former Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah. There's plenty of room for Ansah on a D-line that jettisoned DEs Michael Bennett and Frank Clark over the past 2 offseasons. Ansah joins a group that includes 2019 first-rounder L.J. Collier, 2018 rookie Rasheem Green (a potential DE/DT swing player like Bennett) and some backup/rotational types. Ansah has lingered on the market because of an injured shoulder that will be worth watching through the summer. But Seattle clearly believes he'll be ready to contribute this fall.

Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah left Sunday's win over the Cardinals early after re-injuring his right shoulder. It's the same joint that cost him 6 games earlier this season. Dr. David Chao projected from video review that Ansah's "likely" headed for season-ending surgery on the labrum in that shoulder. We'll keep an eye out for an official diagnosis. Romeo Okwara would figure to see his playing time rebound after Ansah's return cut into his snaps.

Update: Ansah is done for the season.

Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah and DT Damon Harrison are questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers as each deals with a shoulder injury. Both players put in limited practices all week. Ansah played through questionable tags the past 2 games. We'd bet on him being active again, but he'll need to grow his role before returning to real IDP consideration. Harrison's issue is new, but his participation in practice all week leaves us optimistic. We'll see about his status Sunday morning. Detroit will definitely be without its other starting DT, A'Shawn Robinson, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Bears. He’s OK for use in deep IDP leagues but saw only limited playing time in his Week 9 return and doesn’t face a great matchup vs. Chicago.
