The Broncos are releasing veteran Edge Randy Gregory. That's not an especially impactful IDP move itself. Gregory has just 9 tackles and 1 sack through four games. His playing time dipped the past two weeks, from 64%+ the first two games to 47% and 46% in the last two. The move does remove a hurdle from the outlooks of Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper, who have each seen increases in playing time and good production through four games. Both sit top 15 among D-linemen (depending on your format). Denver does have Frank Clark and Baron Browing approaching injury returns, which will challenge the roles of Cooper and Bonitto. But we'll wait to see how that all shakes out before downgrading the guys currently succeeding. Cooper and Bonitto have climbed up our rest-of-season DL rankings and sit especially high in our Week 5 DL rankings, ahead of a meeting with the Jets.

Chiefs EDGE Frank Clark left Saturday's win over the Raiders with a groin injury and did not return. He was ruled out early in the 2nd half. That's generally a bad sign for the severity of an injury. Of course, K.C. was already way up at that point in the game and had no reason to push Clark back into action. The victory also gives him the bye week to heal up before their playoff opener. We'll watch for further details on the injury.

Chiefs DE Frank Clark put in a full practice Wednesday. That's not something he's done much so far this season, including the past 2 weeks. Clark missed both of those games with a hamstring injury. That came on the opposite leg from the one that cost him Week 1 (with another hamstring injury). It looks like Clark is on track to play the Bills this Sunday. We'd rather see him play before getting him back into IDP lineups, though. DL Chris Jones, meanwhile, missed practice with his wrist issue. Unless Jones has suffered a setback, we'd bet on this just being a management thing.

The Chiefs have downgraded DE Frank Clark (hamstring) and CB Charvarius Ward to out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. That hurts what has already ranked among the league’s worst defenses this season

Chiefs DE Frank Clark (hamstring) and CB Charvarius Ward (quad) are questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia. Each guy put in limited practices all week after missing last Sunday's loss to the Chargers. We'd try not to use either player in IDP lineups even if active. DL Chris Jones, meanwhile, is of the final injury report after putting in a full Friday workout. He played through a questionable tag last week with a wrist injury and fell short of his usual playing time. Jones then opened this week with a pair of limited practices. It seems the wrist should be better for Sunday's game, though.

Chiefs CB Charvarius Ward (quad) is inactive for today's game against the Chargers. Kansas City will also be without DE Frank Clark, who was doubtful after sustaining a hamstring injury in practice this week.

Chiefs DE Frank Clark is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Chargers with more hamstring trouble. The Kansas City Star reports that this injury is to the opposite leg from the one he hurt in training camp that kept him out of the season opener. We'll see how long this one keeps him out.

Chiefs DE Frank Clark (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Browns

Chiefs DE Frank Clark is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns with a hamstring injury. Clark put in just limited practices all week. Don't trust him in your Week 1 IDP lineups, even if he's active.

Chiefs DE Frank Clark was arrested Sunday night in L.A. after police spotted an Uzi (submachine gun) in his car, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The situation will certainly get a review under the league's personal-conduct policy. We'll see whether it ultimately costs Clark any games.
