Eagles K Jake Elliott sustained a concussion in the 1st half of Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. HC Doug Pederson told NBC's Michele Tafoya at halftime that he doesn't plan on attempting any FGs or XPs in the 2nd half. We'll keep an eye on Elliott's progress through the protocol this coming week.
The Eagles have signed K Jake Elliott, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He'll replace K Caleb Sturgis, who's heading to IR with the quad injury he suffered in the opener. Sturgis reportedly had a shot to return later this season but shouldn't be on fantasy rosters. We'd avoid Elliott this week, but he could become a spot-start option down the road.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals will release rookie K Jake Elliott, meaning that veteran Randy Bullock has won the kicking job. Cincinnati drafted Elliott in Round 5, but he connected on just 4 of 7 FG attempts in the preseason, including a pair of misses in Thursday night's finale. Bullock went 6 of 7 and made both of his extra-point attempts. He originally joined the Bengals in December, when they dumped K Mike Nugent.
The Bengals have released K Jake Elliott. It's a bit of a surprise Cincy spent a 5th-round pick on him this spring. But the Bengals are rolling with veteran Randy Bullock. He's a fine fantasy option in what should be a productive offense.
