The Bears signed TEs Ryan Griffin and James O'Shaughnessy to 1-year deals. Combined, they have just 1 NFL season with more than 34 catches (Griffin with 50 back in 2016). Both guys look like just depth behind TE Cole Kmet, but we'll keep an eye on the situation this summer.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s finale vs. the Colts. Luke Farrell led Jacksonville TEs in snaps and routes last week but finished with 1 catch on 2 targets for 7 yards.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. With TE Dan Arnold (COVID, knee) unlikely to play, Jacksonville is down to TE Kahale Warring.

The Jaguars on Monday placed TE Dan Arnold on the COVID list. He had been designated last week to return from IR. This likely will knock him out for Sunday's game in New England, even if his injured knee is ready. James O'Shaughnessy remains Jacksonville's #1 TE.

Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault has been placed on the COVID list. He'll miss Sunday's game vs. the Jets. Shenault has been a major disappointment this season but has still averaged 6.6 targets over the last 5 games. His absence is a slight boost for WR Marvin Jones, WR Laquon Treadwell and TE James O'Shaughnessy.

The Jaguars fired HC Urban Meyer. He didn't even last a year in Jacksonville. Meyer's performance was embarrassing both on and off the field. Darrell Bevell -- who has 15 years of experience as an OC -- will take over as interim HC. Meyer's departure can only be good news for Jacksonville's offense, although we still wouldn't go too crazy investing in Jaguars down the stretch.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Jaguars TE Dan Arnold suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his right knee Sunday against the Falcons and will miss 4-6 weeks. The timing -- with just 5 games remaining -- means it could end his season. Whether he makes it back or not, Arnold is certainly droppable in nearly all redraft formats. James O'Shaughnessy figures to be the next guy up at the position but likely falls short of Arnold's upside. O'Shaughnessy, after all, was already on the team when Jacksonville acquired Arnold from the Panthers earlier this season and vaulted him quickly to the top of the depth chart. Arnold's absence leaves behind a nearly 20% share of targets to be distributed. WR Laviska Shenault could be a prime beneficiary. Jamal Agnew's season-ending hip injury in Week 11 moved Shenault back into the primary slot role Sunday.

The Jaguars will be without TE James O-Shaughnessy (high-ankle sprain) for “several weeks,” per beat writer Mark Long. Rookie Luke Farrell ran 20 routes in Week 2, while veteran Chris Manhertz ran only 11. They combined for 3 targets, 1 catch and 6 yards. Ignore both guys in fantasy leagues.

Update: O'Shaughnessy has been placed on IR, so he's out at least the next 3 weeks.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy injured an ankle in the 1st half of Sunday's game vs. the Broncos and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.

The Jaguars signed TE Jacob Hollister. The 27-year-old owns just 74 catches across 4 NFL seasons and was dumped by the Bills at final cuts. But he might just be the best TE in Jacksonville. His competition for that title: James O'Shaughnessy, Chris Manhertz and Luke Farrell. We'll keep an eye on the situation early this season, but avoid it in fantasy lineups for now.

The Jaguars have agreed to a 2-year deal with TE Tyler Eifert, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Eifert joins a roster whose most productive TE had been James O'Shaughnessy, with a top season of 24 receptions in 2018. Jacksonville drafted TE Josh Oliver in Round 3 last year, but he appeared in only 4 games because of injury. Eifert reunites with new Jaguars OC Jay Gruden, who coordinated the Bengals offense back when Cincinnati drafted Eifert in 2013. Eifert made it through 16 games for the 1st time in his career last season, posting a 43-436-3 receiving line in his age-29 season. If he hits August as Jacksonville's lead TE, Eifert should present at least spot-start potential.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. O'Shaughnessy was quietly averaging 4 targets and 2.8 catches per game. His absence leaves TE Geoff Swaim atop the depth chart, although Jacksonville is expected to get rookie TE Josh Oliver (hamstring) back soon.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Panthers with a knee injury. He caught 3 of 4 targets for 57 yards before exiting. We'll look for an update on the injury.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is active for today’s game against the Colts. He should serve as Jacksonville’s lead TE but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts after a limited week of practice. If active, he should serve as Jacksonville’s lead TE but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. Jacksonville will again roll with TEs David Grinnage and Blake Bell. Neither is a fantasy option.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. With TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins on IR and TE Niles Paul also out, Jacksonville is down to TEs David Grinnage and Blake Bell. The Jaguars’ WRs should dominate targets this weekend.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy (hip) did not practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. It looks like he suffered the injury in Wednesday's workout and is now in danger of missing this weekend's game. Check back tomorrow for another update. A healthy O'Shaughnessy would be a low-end spot-start option in a plus matchup against the Texans.
