His deactivation, though, locks in Ray-Ray McCloud as a top-3 WR for the upside matchup with Baltimore. Pittsburgh also activated lead CB Joe Haden and C Kendrick Green from the COVID list, making them available for the Ravens game.

We're not projecting a huge negative impact on the team defense, though.

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) is inactive for today's game at Miami. That only helps the Dolphins' passing game for fantasy purposes, which didn't need any help to begin with this week.

Browns CB Joe Haden had surgery on his right ankle Wednesday and likely won't return until at least training camp, according to Cleveland.com. Haden suffered the injury back in Week 8, but it was a concussion that actually put him on IR. The ankle reportedly didn't bother him until he began working out recently. The team expects him to "resume football activities during training camp," which means that Haden figures to miss all offseason workouts. We'll see what kind of shape he's in when he returns. Of course, CB might be the one position where inhibited play can enhance your fantasy value. If Haden's well enough to take the field but less effective than usual in coverage, he could see more targets and allow more completions.

The Browns have placed CB Joe Haden on IR with the concussion that cost him the past 5 games. Charles Gaines started for Haden against the Niners on Sunday but is no option for your IDP league. Cleveland's D isn't much of a fantasy option either.

Cardinals WR Michael Floyd burned Haden for a long TD catch before the injury, so losing their top corner shouldn't alter the Browns' defensive outlook much. Replacement Pierre Desir contributed 5 tackles and 3 pass breakups vs. Denver in his 1st start this season and then 12 tackles and another breakup at San Diego. He'll present some stat upside Thursday night against the Bengals.

The Browns will have LB Karlos Dansby (ankle) and CB Joe Haden (finger/ribs) in the lineup today against the Ravens. Both entered Sunday questionable but should be fine to use as you normally would in your IDP lineup.

The Browns have ruled out S Tashaun Gipson for Sunday against the Ravens because of the foot injury that pulled him early last week. CB Joe Haden is also questionable with the finger injury that kept him out of the loss to the Chargers. Cleveland listed him as probable for that game before the player asked out, saying he though he'd hurt the team by playing. We'll see what the finger says this time around.
