Colts WR Chester Rogers (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Kamar Aiken will continue to serve as Indy’s #3 WR.

Colts WR Chester Rogers (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Cardinals. It’s a surprise after he was a full-go in Friday’s practice. Kamar Aiken will continue handling #3 WR duties but isn’t a fantasy option with Jacoby Brissett under center.

Colts WR Chester Rogers (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s opener against the Rams. He was expected to serve as the #3 WR, but that gig now goes to Kamar Aiken. Of course, he’s not a fantasy option with Scott Tolzien under center.

Chester Rogers has worked as the Colts' #3 WR in the team's last 2 training-camp practices, according to the Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer. That's ahead of Phillip Dorsett and Kamar Aiken. Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official website wrote back in June that Rogers was a candidate for this role -- but it's starting to look like he's the favorite for it. Rogers went undrafted last year out of Grambling State, where he never topped 735 yards or 6 TDs in a season. He tested as a 62nd percentile athlete, though, and averaged 14.4 yards on his 19 catches last year. We just bumped Rogers up the WR rankings.

Kevin Bowen of Colts.com considers Chester Rogers a candidate for the team's #3 WR job this season. Rogers posted a 19-273-0 line as an undrafted rookie last year and has impressed this offseason. “He’s slowed down and played a little more under control in that way – not slowed down his speed, but as far as his mind,” OC Rob Chudzinski said. “He’s seeing things better, whereas last year he was running around like crazy. Right now, I think he’s understanding, getting things better and you see the progression you expect to see out of a second-year player.” We're still betting on either Kamar Aiken or Phillip Dorsett emerging as the Colts' #3 WR, but it'll be a situation to monitor when training camp gets underway.

WR Kamar Aiken is set to sign with the Colts, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Aiken disappeared in Baltimore last year but tallied a 75-944-5 line in 2015. He turns just 28 in May. T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief are locked in as Indy's top 2 WRs, but Aiken could certainly push Phillip Dorsett for the #3 gig. Dorsett has disappointed since being selected in the 1st round of the 2015 draft, totaling just 51 catches, 753 yards and 3 TDs through 2 seasons.

Ravens WR Steve Smith (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Jets. WR Kamar Aiken will again handle slot duties after posting a 4-64 line on 6 targets last week. He's on the WR3 radar for this plus matchup.

Ravens WR Steve Smith (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets. He didn't practice all week and won't play. That'll again leave slot duties to WR Kamar Aiken, who posted a 4-64 line on 6 targets last week. He's a low-upside WR3 option in Sunday's plus matchup.

Ravens WR Steve Smith (ankle) remained sidelined on Wednesday. We'll see if he's able to return to practice on Thursday or Friday, but fantasy owners can't be counting on him for Week 7. Kamar Aiken took over as Baltimore's slot receiver with Smith out last week, hauling in 4 of 6 targets for 64 yards. He'll be a low-upside WR3 against the Jets this week if Smith sits again.

Ravens WR Steve Smith (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Giants. WR Kamar Aiken is expected to assume Smith’s slot snaps, putting him on the WR3 radar in PPR leagues.

The Ravens listed WR Steve Smith (ankle) as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants. He didn't practice all week and is a long shot to suit up. WR Kamar Aiken figures to be the biggest beneficiary of Smith's absence, taking over the slot role. WR Breshad Perriman could also see more action. WR Mike Wallace and TE Dennis Pitta are the best target bets in Baltimore.

Ravens WR Steve Smith (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. We still don't have any details on his injury, but he didn't return to last weekend's game and looks very iffy for Sunday's meeting with the Giants. His absence would open up more snaps for WRs Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman.

Ravens WR Kamar Aiken left the field slowly with trainers after taking a shot to the chest on Baltimore's final offensive play against the Raiders on Sunday. Given that there was no chance to see if Aiken would have returned to the field, we'll have to wait to see if this is anything significant. QB Joe Flacco's stated desire to use Aiken more produced just 4 targets in the loss to Oakland, though, despite 52 Baltimore pass attempts. You shouldn't be using Aiken anyway.

ESPN reports that Ravens WR Breshad Perriman suffered a partially torn ACL in his left knee. He'll reportedly see Dr. James Andrews on Monday to see if the injury will require season-ending surgery. A PCL injury in his right knee cost Perriman his entire rookie season. A pair of tattered knees isn't a great way to start your pro career. We'll see about the final prognosis, but you certainly shouldn't draft Perriman right now. If he misses the season, Mike Wallace, Kamar Aiken, Steve Smith and whoever wins the starting TE spot get at least a slight fantasy boost. Baltimore's training camp will be among the most interesting to watch.

Ravens WR Steve Smith won't play against the Browns next weekend after suffering a back injury on Thursday night, HC John Harbaugh announced on Saturday.  “I think he’s going to be OK in the long run,” Harbaugh said. “He’s got some small microfractures in his back (from) what I’ve been told. They ruled him out for the Cleveland game. But after that, hopefully he’s going to be back.”  We'll keep tabs on Smith's rehab, but consider him iffy even for Week 6.  Baltimore also placed WR Michael Campanaro (back) on IR and traded for WR Chris Givens.  Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken figure to start against the Browns next weekend.

Ravens WR Breshad Perriman (knee) is out for Sunday's opener against the Broncos. The rookie has yet to practice since spraining his PCL on the 1st day of training camp. There's still no timetable for his return.  Kamar Aiken will serve as Baltimore's #2 WR this weekend but is only a DFS tournament flier.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said WR Breshad Perriman has a “chance” to play Week 1. It’s probably not a good chance, though, as the rookie hasn’t practiced since sustaining a knee injury on day 1 of training camp. Look for Kamar Aiken to start alongside Steve Smith in the season opener, with Marlon Brown entering in 3-WR sets.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh admitted Thursday that there's still no timetable for WR Breshad Perriman's return.  The rookie has been sidelined since the 1st day of training camp back in late July.  It's killed his chances of opening the season with a significant role -- assuming he's even ready by Week 1.  Perriman could still be a fantasy asset later on this year, but he's only worth drafting in double-digits rounds as a bench stash.  WR Kamar Aiken is the favorite to open the season as Baltimore's starter opposite Steve Smith.

The Ravens list WR Kamar Aiken as the starter opposite WR Steve Smith on the initial depth chart they released Thursday. That's not surprising when you consider Aiken's main competitors for that spot -- Breshad Perriman (knee) and Marlon Brown (back) -- have sat out most camp workouts so far with injuries. To his credit, Aiken has reportedly impressed early and generated a bit of fantasy football buzz. We'd still bet on Perriman getting the most run opposite Smith for the season, with all 3 young wideouts factoring in. Aiken caught just 24 passes for 267 yards (11.1 per catch) and 3 TDs in 2014. He entered the league with the Bills in 2011 but never caught a regular-season pass before last year. We'll see how this competition goes once the other guys get on the field more.

Ravens insider Aaron Wilson hears that WR Torrey Smith to the 49ers is a "done deal."  San Francisco is reportedly set to pay Smith $8 or $9 million per year -- a figure Baltimore couldn't match.  Smith is only 26 and scored a personal-best 11 TDs this past season.  But he also tied a career low with 49 catches and set career lows with 767 yards and 15.7 yards per catch.  Smith has yet to develop the all-around game to be considered a true #1 WR.  San Francisco doesn't look like a great landing spot, either.  The Niners still figure to be a run-leaning offense.  And QB Colin Kaepernick ranked just 17th in deep-ball accuracy last year, according to Pro Football Focus.  The Ravens, meanwhile, are left with soon-to-be 36-year-old Steve Smith, Marlon Brown and Kamar Aiken as their top 3 WRs.  They'll need to address the position in free agency and/or the draft.
