The Saints have ruled LB Pete Werner (shoulder, oblique) and S Marcus Maye (shoulder) out for Sunday's game against the Lions. We wouldn't target a replacement for either in IDP lineups, though Werner's absence can only help the tackle upside for LB Demario Davis.

The Saints have several defensive starters questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts: LB Demario Davis (knee), S Tyrann Mathieu (foot), S Marcus Maye (hamstring, illness), and CB Alontae Taylor (hip). Davis and Mathieu played through their issues last week and seem likely to do so again. Taylor popped up on the injury report Thursday and put in limited practices Thursday and Friday.
