Browns WRs Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge have been placed on the COVID list as high-risk close contacts and are out for Sunday's game against the Jets. Those are Cleveland's top 4 WRs. Marvin Hall is the only other WR on the active roster. Ja'Marcus Bradley and Derrick Willies are on the practice squad. We wouldn't mess with that situation in Week 16 fantasy lineups. TEs Austin Hooper, Harrison Bryant and David Njoku should be busy tomorrow. Baker Mayfield, meanwhile, goes from a solid QB1 play to a shaky QB2. Expect a run-heavy game plan from Cleveland.
Update: Bradley and Willies have been promoted from the practice squad.
The Lions will waive WR Marvin Hall, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. It's a semi-surprising move since Hall was playing a bunch of snaps for Detroit with WR Kenny Golladay sidelined. The Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett expects rookie WR Quintez Cephus to step into Hall's role against the Bears on Sunday, but he's still not a viable fantasy play.
Lions WRs Kenny Golladay (hip) and Danny Amendola are out for this weekend’s game against the Panthers. Golladay was limited on Wednesday before sitting out on Thursday and Friday, so it looks like he suffered a setback. Marvin Jones, Marvin Hall and Quintez Cephus figure to operate as Detroit’s top 3 WRs on Sunday.
Lions WR Kenny Golladay (hip) is not expected to play against the Vikings on Sunday and is considered "week to week," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The IR is a possibility for Golladay, which would knock him out for at least 3 games. We'll keep you updated on Golladay's status as we learn more but would keep him stashed on fantasy benches. WR Marvin Hall stepped in for Golladay in yesterday's loss to the Colts, finishing with 4 catches on 7 targets for 113 yards. He'd still be a flier in Week 9 fantasy lineups. WR Marvin Jones and TE T.J. Hockenson will be the best target bets in Detroit for however long Golladay is out.
